Excellent service in a prime location.
Pros:

The breakfast was first class with an option of buffet or cooked full English or both..The view was magnificent being in garden surroundings and a long way from the road, so no traffic noise.

Cons:

A very small fridge would have been nice and we had to shower in the bath. We had to ask for a slip mat which they gave us without argument.

I enjoyed the town, so peaceful, location of the hotel near pier.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast, a combination of buffet and table service for hot breakfast. Smiling faces and readiness to help made the day more enjoyable.

Cons:

May be a fridge in the room.

Disapointed, hotel felt a bit run down and needed an upgrade (didnt see any other rooms)
Pros:

Hotel was close to town centre (5-7mins walk) Designated parking outside hotel suite. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good - bacon very hard and crispy (would have liked to have been asked how I liked it cooked)

Cons:

The room (Mews suite) was in poor condition - There had been a recent leak in the roof and the plaster was split and the walls were stained with the running water leak from the roof area. The shower door handle was not secure and shower area could have been cleaner - mold around base) The carpets were heavily marked. The heating stopped at night (estimate 21.00 hrs) and didnt come back on until 07.00 am approx. The room was very cold through the night. We were there 30th Dec to 2nd Jan 2026. The marks on the carpet could have been reduced if outside was brushed and cleared of moss and mud off the roof area (it was difficult not to walk this into the room area) The bar closed at 09.30 every night (open we think until 01.30 am New Years Eve) We had to pay for accomidation as soon as we arrived (we werent shown the room or about the place normally you would pay on departure including and add on's / drinks etc.

Great location
Pros:

Location was excellent
Very clean
Pleasant staff

Cons:

We stayed in the main house, 2nd floor the floor board was extremely creaky felt the room below must have found it very annoying.

On our check out day, we asked if we could keep our car parked for a few more hours as we was planning on spending a few hours around Bowness, reception told us we.could only park for an hour. Found.this a little disappointing. I understand other guests will be arriving but checking not til 3pm we would have long been gone.
