Even though the hotel could benefit from updates; our room was bright & clean with comfy beds
Pros:

Breakfast buffer was great. The food in the restaurant was amazing! Local ingredients, variety of offering for all.

Cons:

Staff was not informative or engaging. Then front desk was often not staffed and when it was they acted like clerks vs hosts.

A few examples:

They did not share information on the shuttle service, when asked, did not inform us of the limited hours available or offer suggestions when we needed transportation options outside of the schedule.

When my husband injured himself skiing and needed ice, the front desk asked us to speak to bartender around the corner. He was busy making a cocktail and made us wait for a bag of ice. If this was a one off situation could have understood, but every time we asked for ice had a similar experience and/or delay.

For a hotel on a mountain, staff did not cater to skier’s needs at all.

One bright note, there was a young gentleman who was engaging and helpful. When asked, he offered dinner options outside the hotel and picked us up from the mountain off shuttle hours. I wish I had his name to share.

Per noi ormai da anni il binomio sci sulle dolomiti e hotel, si chiama Arabba Alpenrose
Pros:

Tutto, dall’accoglienza cortese e presente ma non invadente, il confort delle camere, il buon cibo, l’abbondante colazione, la skiroom, la spa, la comodità nell’accesso alle piste.

Great spot for a ski trip. Fantastic meals included.
Pros:

Location was great for skiing, we did the sellaronda and Maromlada glacier, among other adventures. The food was fantastic at all meals, desert is not to be missed. The staff was wonderful our entire stay, relaxed and friendly.
