North Cottage Studio Apartment with private entrance

The owner was very helpful and came to help us when the stove burners we couldn't turn on the following morning after using them the night before.

Great check-in, Ash was very nice and gave us loads of info about food/drinks in the surrounding area. Big bonus if you're a native English speaker, I assume the property owners are from Australia. Location close to Yoyogi park and Sangubashi station. Room space is small but well utilized. In-unit washer/dryer was a massive convenience. TV services in room were above average for Japan; Netflix, Prime Video, local cable, probably more we didn't explore. Located very close to train tracks, but some sound dampening tools were in the room to compensate (we personally did not mind the sound and did not use them).

Excellent location in a quiet residential area but easy to get to Shinjuku/Shibuya and beyond!
The amenities are incredible with everything you could need in a lovely space.

I really enjoyed my stay here - a little home away from home in a lovely leafy green residential area of Tokyo. Those booking this place will be aware that it is close to a train line and a studio flat attached to the owner's house so shouldn't be suprised by the noise from both the trains and the neighbours, but I didn't find that it bothered me too much and I hope I wasn't too much of a noisy guest!

The apartment is equipped with everything one could possibly need for a home away from home. The attention to detail in providing essentials and amenities truly stood out. Clean, cosy, and well-appointed, it made for a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring.

What truly set this accommodation apart was the exceptional hospitality of the hosts. They took the time to thoroughly explain all the features of the apartment, leaving no room for confusion. Moreover, their willingness to share additional valuable information about the local area, including recommendations for restaurants, attractions, and transportation, made my stay even more enjoyable.

In summary, if you're looking for a place where every detail is taken care of and where hosts go out of their way to make you feel at home, these apartments are the perfect choice. I left with a sense of gratitude for the warm hospitality I received and would not hesitate to book again in the future. Highly recommended!

I loved my stay again at the North Cottage. Super comfortable bed. All the amenities you would ever need, fast wifi and Netflix on the tv.

Super convenient location, close to Sangubashi station with some great restaurants, easy walk to Yoyogi/Shinjuku.

The bed was suuuper comfortable! Nice fresh linen, too - I had a great night's sleep.
I appreciated having the Firestick with different streaming options so I didn't have to make do with local TV.
The hosts were really helpful and responsive.
I'll definitely stay again when I'm visiting Tokyo.

Compact but comfortable property in quiet residential area in central Tokyo between Shinjuku and Shibuya. Great location from which to explore all areas of Tokyo. Very helpful host and personal check-in. Arranged transfer from Haneda which made arrival after long flight very easy.
