Great welcome. Great views.
Pros:

Beautiful views from our bedroom window over the harbour and Islands. Excellent location, within walking distance of the town and station. Strong hot shower, comfortable bed and a spacious room. Enjoyed a Thai meal at the restaurant cooked by the host.

Cons:

The wonderful views are because the hotel is on top of a hill but as long as you are fit this is no problem. We are in our 70’s and thought it was fine.

I would recommend staying there.
Pros:

Super cute retro hotel. Beautiful views from the room. They even had an elevator. Right by the art museum and Observatory.

Cons:

The beds were pretty hard, but I’m still glad we stayed there.

Restaurant Thaï dans l'hôtel, très pratique pour le repas du soir. Le personnel est gentil

Chambre un peu vétuste. Et accès a l'hôtel avec beaucoup de marche (voyagez léger)

Sehr persönliche Unterkunft mit sehr nettem Personal und großartigem Blick über Onomichi
Pros:

Die Lage bietet einen herrlichen Blick in die Bucht von Onomichi. Ein Taxi vom Bahnhof zum Hotel zu nehmen, wie empfohlen, ist absolut sinnvoll.
Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und versuchen auch ungewöhnliche Bedürfnisse der Gäste zu berücksichtigen.
Das Thailändische Restaurant ist absolut empfehlenswert.

Pros:

Tiene unas vistas impresionantes de todo Onomichi, y del puerto, y los dueños son extremadamente amable. Si no te importa tener que subir un camino con bastante inclinación para llegar, las vistas merecen la pena. No es un hotel nuevo o fancy, pero sí limpio y agradable.

Entiendo que la ubicación del lugar puede no parecerle cómoda a todo el mundo.
