Important information:

Please note that driver accommodations and driver's meals are free of charge at our Car Park. Although the Google maps may show you the distance to World's End as 8.6 kms, that trail is closed by the government. Actual distance to Horton Plains and World's End from the Glenrock is 67 kms (one way)( We provide excursions to Horton Plains and Adam's Peak and more).

Vehicles must be parked at our car park, 2297 ft away and we will safely take you in our off road shuttle to the hotel. Please contact the hotel(ideally with a local phone number which can be easily purchased at the airport). so that we can help you with directions and information(Some google map recommended may not be travelable/viable mainly due to road conditions).

While free WiFi facilities are available, only the Mobitel mobile carrier coverage is available. Spa therapies have to be booked at least five days prior to the Check In Date and available only subject to the availability of the therapist. Liquor, wine and beer are available in room and at restaurant.

Please inform The Glenrock in advance of your expected arrival time . You may use the Special Requests box in communicating with the property directly or through the communication methods given in your confirmation. Photo identification and credit card are required prior to check-in.

Remote location allows for a feeling of having escaped from normal holiday trail. Surrounded by trees with a fabulous outlook in all directions.
Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Loved the personal approach rather than corporate systems.

A remote and beautiful place to stay
Pros:

This is a unique place to stay, high up in the mountains and away from mass tourism. It is designed in a very rustic style which blends seamlessly with the surroundings. All members of staff were absolutely charming and couldn't have done more to make our stay extra special. Both rooms we stayed in were lovely but be prepared for a more rustic environment. Our guided tour to the nearby waterfall was a real highlight, with such personal and caring attention as we scrambled over rocks to the beautiful pool. We strongly recommend Glenrock.

Se merece un 12!!!

Nos gustó TODO. El lugar es increíble, en medio de la jungla, al lado de un río donde te puedes bañar. Como no estaba lleno, nos enseñaron nuestra habitación y otra superior para que eligiéramos la que queríamos. Creo que no nos equivocamos porque las vistas desde la habitación eran impresionantes. La habitación muy amplia y muy cómoda. El baño muy grande con un jacuzzi con vistas a las montañas. No se puede pedir más... pero lo había. Nos quedamos sobre todo con el trato recibido por todos los trabajadores del resort. Desde antes de llegar ya te están contactando para ayudarte. Nosotros llegamos en nuestro tuk tuk y nos ayudaron a llegar hasta allí. Una vez allí se desviven para que tu experiencia sea inolvidable. Y vaya si lo consiguieron!! Son todos muy profesionales y cercanos y se desviven por hacer todo lo que esta en su mano para que te sientas a gusto. Cenamos y desayunamos allí. La comida es increíble. El restaurante es un 10! No pudimos tener una experiencia mejor. Me faltan las palabras para poder expresar nuestro agradecimiento. Nos lo llevaremos siempre en nuestro recuerdo.

Absolutamente nada... es imposible que sea mejor!! Y un 12 para todos los trabajadores que hicieron nuestra estancia inolvidable.

Pros:

This small hotel is located in a very nice and remote hilly location next to rice fields and a small stream. What needs to be mentioned as outstanding is the extremely attentive and warm hearted service with 100% good quality. The breakfast was extraordinary and all wishes were taken care of. The team took great care with suggestions of local activities and also guided us for those activities without any extra fees. They also took care of games and small activities with our kids, explaining the local environment with its plants and animals. The kids loved the DIY activities with bamboo and the games. The rooms are very close to nature and you have to be aware that you can hear the stream and cannot switch it off at night... ;-)

Pros:

The staff were absolutely amazing. We wanted to change our reservation after we arrived, and they made it happen. They are super attentive and friendly. They also offered to pick us up from downhill after our walk to the waterfall.

A beautiful Narure Resort were your mind and body can relax

Paradise for people who are in love with nature, lots of bugs 🐛 squirrels 🐿️ lizards 🦎 monkeys 🐒 natural waterfalls downstairs from your chalet, beautiful views to paddy fields We were upgraded to a beautiful glass chalet with a private access to water stream, very comfy chalet with 2 room balcony and terrace. The manager organized for as trip to nearby waterfall which was a bit of a hike, with our 3 and 5 years old it was an adventure hike ending at the gorgeous waterfall with its own natural pool. We went as well for a village trip with a small temple you can visit. Very delicious breakfast fresh juice fruits and the most delicious string hopped with coconut filling inside 🤤

Nothing really, you just need to be prepared its wildlife resort 😀
