Pros:

We appreciated the friendly staff and the rooms were satisfactory.

Cons:

However, the dinner experience was disappointing. The food quality was poor, and after briefly seeing the kitchen area, I was concerned about the cleanliness and hygiene standards. This is something that definitely needs improvement.

Pros:

Very well located. Boarding beautiful paddy view. Also very close to Anuradhapua ancient city. Peaceful cozy atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and flexible.

Good location to stay if you are Visiting Anuradhapura cultural triangle
Pros:

If you are visiting the cultural triangle this is quite the palce to saty and its just few minutes to Ruwanwelisaya and 20 Minutes to Mihintale and all this sites in between. The staff are really frendly and accomodative. The Chef was like his face a kind and frendly. Kids are welcome and accomodated quite safe place.

Pros:

Zeer positieve ervaring in Monaara Leisure. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Vanuit het zwembad heb je een mooi uitzicht over de rijstvelden, waar je tientallen soorten vogels kunt spotten!

Cons:

Douchegordijn in de douche was niet top. Frigootje op de kamer voor water zou leuk zijn, maar niet persé noodzakelijk.

Emplacement calme aux abords de rizières
Pros:

L emplacement etait très bien. Le personnel est très gentil.
Mon chauffeur a pu dormir également.
La piscine à la vue sur les rizières. En avril, fin de récolte mais nous avons vu les paysans travailler les champs.
Le dîner est un buffet, il y a du choix mais ce n etait pas assez typique pour nous.

Family friendly, awesome location for seeing the sacred city, pool was clean, food and staff great!

The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The scenery was gorgeous. The room was a great size for a family of 4 and the food was delicious. The pool was much enjoyed by the family too!

Kleines schönes und ruhig gelegenes Hotel im Landesinneren.
Pros:

Die Lage war sehr angenehm und der Pool wunderschön erfrischend. Das Frühstück war auch absolut in Ordnung und das Personal sehr freundlich. Wir waren nur eine Nacht dort würden aber jederzeit wieder hin gehen.

Twee nachten geboekt, maar na de eerste overnachting vertrokken.

We hadden dit hotel voor twee nachten geboekt, maar zijn na de eerste overnachting al vertrokken. In het overall beeld is het vergane glorie en zijn de foto's wat opgepoetst. Wij verbleven in de deluxe kamer.
- Kamer is erg gehorig. Straathonden, muziek midden in de nacht van een waarschijnlijk nabij gelegen plek, en vroeg in
de ochtend hoor je mensen praten en de trap op- en af komen.
- Bed en douche waren prima. Wel erg stoffig en in de kleine badkamer insecten en spinnenwebben, etc.
- Zwembad met uitzicht op groen, is een groot pluspunt. Het was wel fijn geweest als ze deze even hadden schoongemaakt. Houd er rekening mee dat het zwembad vol in de zon ligt en er geen parasols aanwezig zijn.
- Er is ons geen ontbijt aangeboden waar we in de booking wel voor betaald hadden. Dat maakt verder niet uit, want wij wilden graag snel weg, maar geeft wel een indruk over de service.

Met deze review heb ik rekening gehouden met prijs-kwaliteit verhouding en deze klopt hier naar mijn inziens niet (meer).

Als laatste wil ik benoemen dat we een tuktuk via de accommodatie hebben geregeld, maar ook deze rit hebben we vroegtijdig beëindigd. Omdat we via de accommodatie boeken, gaan we er vanuit dat dit oké is, en vroegen we een paar minuten onderweg pas naar de prijs. De tuktuk driver wilde voor de rit naar Mihintale 7000 roepies hebben. Daarvoor zou hij wel op ons wachten voor de retour, maar we hebben specifiek een enkele rit besproken. Toen werd het 2500, maar nog steeds een woekerprijs vergeleken met andere aanbieders.

Een leuk verblijf met veel groen en dichtbij het centrum
Pros:

Prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Mooie locatie niet ver van het centrum. Veel groen en daardoor veel vogels. Zelfs de neushoornvogel gespot. Het ontbijt is voor deze prijs uitgebreid. Je kunt hun koeling gebruiken bij de receptie. Ze kunnen transport voor je regelen. Dat hadden wij zelf al eerder geregeld dus was niet nodig. De badkamer was niet helemaal schoon: een vieze vlek op de wasbak. De douche is heerlijk! Fijne airco op de kamer. Fijne ruime bedden.
