Resort curato e immerso tra i rumori della natura
Pros:

Resort affacciato sul Saffron Lake a due passi dal Parco nazionale di Yala. Resort molto curato con ampie camere immerse nel verde che si affacciano sul lago e offre tramonti mozzafiato con possibilità di fare anche Bird Watching. Il ristorante all’aperto offre dei pasti veramente squisiti e anche di un certo livello. Tutto questo reso possibile dal lavoro impeccabile del ragazzo che abbiamo incontrato alla nostra accoglienza si trova se reception che a fare il cameriere, ad esempio nel ristorante ci ha accolti e fatti sentire a casa una persona veramente eccezionale.

AMAZING STAY!
Pros:

The people were extremely helpful and kind. What we also really loved about the accommodation was its location.

It’s situated in a beautiful local town where you truly get a warm Sri Lankan feeling. In addition, it’s located next to a stunning lake where you can already spot many birds.

We had great contact with the accommodation and arranged a full-day private safari with a luxurious jeep and guide for 76,000 LKR. We were lucky enough to see three leopards, a true dream come true!!

The rooms were very clean and spacious, and we had some of the best food of our entire Sri Lanka trip here.

Klidná lokalita , příjemné prostředí, přátelští zaměstnanci

Cons:

Hotel je stále v procesu budování, tudíž stále chybí bazén a vlastně mimo pokoj a restauraci není ani moc co dělat v okolí, věřím že to bude jednou výhodná volba pro okolní výlety, zadní část resortu k jezeru nabídne s bazénem daleko větší vyžití

Die Unterkunft war schön am See gelegen, sehr saubere Zimmer und sehr nettes Personal. Auch das Essen im Restaurant war top und das Frühstück sehr lecker, das wir in einer Box zu unserer Safari mitbekommen haben.

Cons:

Leider wurde während unseres Aufenthalts das Dach bei einem Bungalow vor uns erneuert, direkt vor unserer Nase. Mit permanentem Hämmern konnten wir uns da gar nicht entspannen. Selbst im Zimmer war es extrem laut und auf der Terrasse hätten wir es gar nicht aushalten können, zumal auch dauerhaft Bauarbeiter in unser Zimmer schauen konnten. Wir hatten es beim Personal angesprochen aber mehr als ein „sorry“ und den Hinweis dass wir ja leider nur die niedrigere Kategorie gebucht haben, gab es nicht.

Sehr schönes Hotel direkt am See
Pros:

- Unglaublich freundliches Personal. Zur Begrüßung gab es erst einmal einen frischen Fruchtsaft und ein kühles, nasses Tuch. Umesh hat sich um alle unsere Belange gekümmert und auch für den nächsten Tag eine private Ganztages-Safari organisiert. Diese wurde direkt vom Hotel durchgeführt und der Preis war vergleichbar mit anderen Anbietern. Wir hatten einen tollen Tag im Yala Nationalpark und haben viele Tiere gesehen, u.a. Elefanten, Wasserbüffel und einen Leoparden. Das Frühstück und Mittagessen vom Hotel war auch bei der Safari sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Auch unseren Transfer zur nächsten Unterkunft in Mirissa haben wir über das Hotel organisieren lassen.
- Das Hotel liegt direkt am See und besteht aus kleinen Häusern, die über das Grundstück verteilt sind. Es recht weit von den nächsten Geschäften und Restaurants entfernt. Es empfiehlt sich, sich vorher im Supermarkt mit allem Notwendigen einzudecken.
- Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und komfortabel. Schön war auch die eigene Terrasse, auf der man herrlich entspannen konnte.
- Wir haben im Hotelrestaurant gegessen, was sehr lecker war. Die Preise sind zwar höher als draußen, aber es gibt die Auswahl zwischen verschiedenen 3-Gänge-Menüs und das Hotel geht auf besondere Wünsche ein.
- das Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Es gibt die Wahl zwischen kontinental oder srikankesisch. Wir hatten Ersteres mit Pancakes, Toast, frischen Früchten und einem Smoothie.

Cons:

- das Wasser in der Dusche blieb nicht konstant warm, aber damit konnten wir uns arrangieren

Pros:

Struttura piccola e accogliente che si affaccia su un lago, staff gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo assistito a uno dei tramonti più belli della nostra vacanza. Circa a 30 min dall’entrata al parco nazionale di Yala, le jeep vengono a prenderti direttamente in hotel.

A fantastic place to stay for a safari at Yala
Pros:

The staff made the stay at Saffron Lake. They helped us out with any request and always with a smile. The team organised us an amazing safari and although it is quite far away from anything, they organised a tuktuk for us to visit the local town. The breakfast and the dinner were particularly good!

Cons:

There are a few insects, but given the location that's to be expected!

Entspannte Safari-Auszeit
Pros:

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat sich öfters entschuldigt, als andere Gäste lauter waren. Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Zimmer schön und sauber.
Auch die Buchung der Safari hat einwandrei geklappt.
Schön war ausserdem der Empfang mit Saft und kaltem Handtuch.

Cons:

Man muss das Essen und Getränke (auch Anzahl) vorbestellen.

An amazing night before Safari
Pros:

Their property is visually stunning as it is. The way they set up the rooms itself sets the mood for safari.

Polite and helpful staffs, a young chef who is attentive, their team is amazing.

I had a deluxe villa, for the night of 16th Dec. The stay was calm and peaceful.

Cons:

The air conditioning, was facing directly the beds. This might be a concern only for me and my family, but all 3 woke up with nasal congestion.
