Lovely and helpful host, he gave us a brochure to help us keep busy in the area on a cloudy day and let us know the forecast. The room was spacious and the building had a very friendly vibe with some shared conveniences, such as a fridge, microwave, and big room for chatting or dining. Location is nice and quiet.

Incredibly friendly staff, comfortable, quiet and out of the way so you don't hear people passing by Charming old house, and still very close to lake Kawaguchi.

The owner was very nice and in general l can also speak Japanese so communication was not a problem at all.
Pros:

Location was great. It was very close to the lake and the view of Mount Fuji can be seen as you walk out to the street.

The property was very clean and the owner was very helpful and welcoming. He responded to all request to the highest standard and went above and beyond to make sure that the stay was pleasant and comfortable. This property has an stunning view of Mount Fuji right from the road where it is located.

Pros:

super close to the sightseeing places in the area, very convenient. the staff is also extremely nice, he gave me a lot of recommendations--love this hostel!

Cons:

the restroom in the front desk is small, so the staff won't let me freshen up or put on make up in the morning when I got there before check-in time.

Great location, friendly owner and recommended place.
Pros:

Friendly owner, easy check in and nice clean room with en-suite (which said shared bathroom on booking.com so that was a nice surprise) communal area with use of basic utensils, microwave and fridges was a great bonus. Lovely large windows to the room to let in loads of light and a step outside to the car park and you can see Mt Fuji!

Chambre très spacieuse, hôtel très bien placé, en bordure du lac, vue sur le Mont Fuji imprenable, a proximité du festival d'Automne. Gérant très sympathique et amical, donne de bons conseils pour visiter la région. Mon séjour, bien que de courte durée, fut des plus agréable, je retournerai sûrement dans cet établissement si je reviens dans la région
