Clean, well presented, lovely staff - highly recommend
Pros:

Beautiful hotel just off the main road. The pool was big, clean and very well presented. We were the only guests during our stay and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. We were upgraded to a larger room which was comfortable, clean and had all the amenities you could ask for.
We were welcomed with a healthy juice shot and cool fragrant towels on arrival, and had a lovely meal and breakfast in the restaurant.
Very good value for money.

Lovely stay
Pros:

Had a wonderful stay at Lakegala Resort while travelling from Ella to Sigiriya. The location is perfect, especially for travelers visiting Wasgamuwa National Park.

If you are planning a long journey from Ella to Sigiriya, I highly recommend staying one night at Lakegala Resort to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the staff was very friendly and supportive.

Wunderschöne Anlage, die schönste Unterkunft bei unserem Sri Lanka-Aufenthalt. Sehr gepflegt, schöner Pool und super Zimmer. Personal sehr aufmerksam, Essen auch gut. Haben auf Anfrage bereits um 6:30 Frühstück bekommen.

Pros:

Very spacious and comfortable room, suitable for three people.
Good facilities, good value for money, and courteous staff.
Meals are available at the on-site restaurant. A mini supermarket is located on the opposite side of the road, directly in front of the hotel.
This is the only hotel in the area offering standard facilities.
Would consider staying again.

Horrible. Not worth the money.

It was clean, spacious and all amenities were there

Cons:

Despite the cleanliness and the space, our stay was horrible. We were after a long journey and all we wanted was a good sleep. But the A/C was insanely noisy and the mini bar fridge was making a big weird noise every 5 mins. The A/C was giving only the fan without any cool. We were dehydrated in the morning. Couldnt sleep the whole night cz of the noises. Non of these noises were normal. Moreover their wifi didnt work as well. Not even to function whatsapp. This place isnt a cheap place. So non of these things are acceptable for the price u pay here. Left the place really disappointed and sleep deprived.

Un bel endroit pour une après midi de détente. Mais attention rien autour 😀
Pros:

Piscine très agréable ainsi que la chambre et la literie.
Repas très bon ainsi que le petit déjeuner

Cons:

La propreté de la salle de bain (cuvette des we sale) et des tapis laissés dans les chambres qui sont sales.
Mieux vaut ne rien mettre que de laisser des tapis sales 🙏🙏🙏

Only decent hotel in the area
Pros:

Friendly staff and decent stay. A lot of nature surrounding the hotel. Good WiFi and nice swimming pool.

Cons:

Bathroom smelled a bit and the breakfast was a bit strange. I think maybe for western clients it is strange. The hotel uses solar panels for hot water, and sadly we came on a cold rainy day so our showers were ice cold.
