Okay for the location...
Pros:

The location was excellent, very close to tye Tissa Wewa. The garden was very welcoming.

Cons:

Accessibility with public transport was not ideal. Although the hotel was in a quiet place, the birds nesting above the ceiling in the room were noisy and were active through the day, even at 4 am! The amenities for tea/coffee making were not available (only a kettle provided), and only a small piece of soap was provided. The lint from the towels were sticking to everything after a wash. They should have been washed prior to supply. The breakfast was mediocre and was not freshly prepared.

Bijzondere locatie middenin de natuur
Pros:

Hele mooie plek middenin de natuur. We zijn heel vriendelijk onthaald door Pressa, hele vriendelijke mensen zijn er. Ze willen alles wel voor je doen. Mooie ruime kamers en prima ontbijt. Houd er wel rekening mee dat het laatste stuk weg onverhard en donker is. Onze tuktuk had op sommige plaatsen even een uitdaging. Ook als je 's avonds naar het centrum cq een restaurant wilt: neem een zaklamp mee, of laad je telefoon goed op zodat je de zaklamp kunt gebruiken want het onverharde wegdeel waar je langs moet is niet verlicht. Ook zijn de bedden wat hard. Laat geen spullen op je balkon, er zitten ook apen en ze komen op je balkon, heel bijzonder! Overall een prima accomodatie!

Cons:

Verlichting onverharde weg, bedden kunnen wat zachter en elke dag standaard een schone handdoek en schoonmaak zou mooi zijn. Is nu ook gebeurd hoor, maar we moesten er wel zelf om vragen.

Very quiet hotel with beautiful views across lake and close to ancient city
Pros:

Very friendly staff in good location for exploring the ancient city etc . Beautiful sunsets over the lake which is right outside hotel and also views of the Stupas . Food in hotel restaurant was good also . We stayed in basic double which was absolutely fine with separate wc and shower we just had to pay $4 for AC in that room . The hammock and swing in garden was lovely to relax on in the afternoon and fun watching the monkeys swing through the trees !

Cons:

A little lost in translation over breakfast but made it fun : )

Schöne Unterkunft am See mit Garten
Pros:

Liebevoll geführte Unterkunft mit Garten in dem Schmetterlinge beobachten kann. Grosse Zimmer. Direkt am See, mit Sonnenaufgang

Cons:

Etwas ausserhalb, für uns als TukTuk Fahrer kein Problem.
Englisch könnte besser sein.

Good for the budget, nice people and good location.
Pros:

Good location beside the lake but no lake view. Only a few minutes by Tuk Tuk to all the local sights and temples etc. Staff were friendly but limited English.

Cons:

The room wasn't dirty but little attention to detail with a cockroach (always a possibility in these sorts of forrest/ water locations) and a couple of unwanted hairs around.

Great location by the lake ,language was tricky
Pros:

It was beside the lake and a tranquil spot away from the city. The room was great and spacious. You could walk or cycle all the way around the lake. Good to visit ancient sites. The garden was peaceful and well kept.

Cons:

As others have said the language barrier here was more pronounced. Staff waiting in the room for a tip it was awkward. We were overcharged and it was difficult to explain.

Pros:

The room was newly decorated and spacious with separate shower and toilet rooms. This family run hotel is in a quiet location not far from tge lake and everyone is very helpful and friendly. The temples can be seen from the lakeshore and give lovely reflections at night.

Cons:

Unfortunately renovation works took place above my room from early morning, hence the lower rating.

Bella stanza, molto grande e silenziosa. Letto comodo.
Personale gentile e disponibile.
La struttura si trova vicino al lago da dove si può fare una bella passeggiata e raggiungere alcuni templi ed il giardino reale.
Buona scelta sia per la colazione che per la cena.
Possibilità di prenotare taxi e fare massaggi.

Cons:

Tutto ok ma ho un consiglio per gli ospiti: la stanza non ha finestre ma solo una porta a vetri, di notte è molto calda ed il ventilatore è rumoroso. Consiglio di utilizzare l aria condizionata (a pagamento).
