Slightly poor welcome
The place was family friendly and the staff is also really kind and helpful. The rooms are also well made and clean.
The AC was bit low, we tried to increase but didn't work properly for one of our rooms.
Nothing
You wouldn't wish this place on your worst enemy. The description is completely untrue.
I don't understand why no one has written about this in their reviews yet, Most likely the previous reviews were left by Sri Lankans.
When we arrived, we were deceived by the nice courtyard and green lawn. Before checking in and paying for your stay, you first need to thoroughly check the room.
So where to start:
Mosquitoes ate us up outside after sunset, a huge Rottweiler ran at my friend, and the owner managed to stop it. There is not a single window in the room, it feels like you are in a basement. Inside of my friends room it feels like wet sauna. The room has an improvised window with many wasp nests in it. The air conditioning didn't work in the room, NO WiFi, there is only cold water running in the shower, there was no toilet paper, the room was dirty, but i can still close my eyes to this, because this is Asia...
We woke up at 2 a.m. and couldn't fall asleep, we literally stuck to the bed, the stench of dampness and mold is something you can't just keep quiet about, because it can be dangerous to your health, it is felt strongly in every breath of air. When we checked in, we lifted the mattress and saw large cockroaches. The smell of urine and dampness from the bed linen, mattress and pillows is simply unbearable, they haven't been changed and cleaned for many years. Whole worlds of microflora have taken up residence in the pillows and mattress. Over the course of two days I managed to sleep twice for 2 hours.
This was the worst place I've stayed not only in Asia but in the whole world. We literally walked until late just to avoid returning to this place. I'm not sure but I have a feeling that the living conditions in a Sri Lankan prison are better than in this hotel.
This place can be rated at 1, its cost should not be $19, but a maximum of $5, and even then $5 needs to be spent on major repairs...

It can be described as wet mold and disgusting horror. NO Recomend this place!!!
Owner is very good and friendly location and place also very clam and quite .
Should be add less than breakfast or bedtea .
Nothing specific
Found a small lizard in the room. Owner said that it's common to find a lizard in the house in Sri Lanka. He told us that if we can't stay in such a room, we should pay LKR 1000 extra for alternative room or go to a "5 STAR Hotel". Owner started shouting at my wife because she said - she can't stay in a room which has a lizard.
there is no place to put wastage.
the was wonderful and its a very close by place to ruwanwaliseya and sri maha bodhi definitely recomend this place for a simple vacation and fun stay.
