Super 👌 Nice and very Comfortable place

Great location, Value for money and comfortable
Pros:

The location is perfect, very quiet 1 minute to the beach . The staff are amazing and super helpful. The room was better than I expected, the bed was comfrey, delicious breakfast. I had such a wonderful time here, one will never forget. I really highly recommended.

15 Jours de Surf au Sri Lanka
Pros:

Réservé quelques mois à l'avance pour un séjour surf à Arugam bay je n'ai pas été déçu.
Ansar a organisé mon transfert en taxi depuis l'aéroport de Colombo (6h de route) et m'a accueilli très efficacement à l'hôtel. J'ai pu réserver une planche et un scooter pour l'ensemble de mon séjour. Côté surf tous les jours nous pouvions aller sur une plage différente selon les conditions météo. Contrairement à ce qu'indique le site il est possible de payer en carte. Il y a des frais mais parfois cela vaut mieux que de retirer une grosse somme en liquide puis d'être coincé par la suite.

Cons:

Les équipements des chambres mériteraient une remise à niveau. Côté électricité et plomberie c'est passable. Ma chambre était confortable mais pas extrêmement spacieuse

Amazing and valuable Budget surf camp in Arugambay

I had a wonderful time and would definitely return, and recommend the place to others.
Pros:

First, the location of the hotel was perfect, so conveniently placed in relation to every place I wanted to go to in Arugam Bay. The hotel is charming, a wide-open space that affords a beautiful view of, and great access to the beach 1 minute walk. My room was spacious and clean, and had all the amenities I required. The staff were beyond wonderful, so helpful and accomodating, which made a short trip with complicated travel times so much easier to bear. Last, this place was a steal for the nightly rate . i Highly Recommended this surf camp because surf lessons was amazing !!

Pros:

Nice and simple place near the Arugam Bay beach. Nice rooms and room has A/C. Though the rooms have A/C, it's very cheap. The owner is very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Also the staff members are very supportive. Highly recommend this place

Pros:

Chill and very very quiet place in Arugambay it was amazing stay with Ansa. Very delicious food and free kitchen used. always smiling 😀helping staff . Nice view and comfortable room.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! WORST HOTEL AND MANAGEMENT IN THE WORLD!!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! I was verbally assaulted by the hotel manager Ansar and felt very unsafe and unwelcome. He was very agressive and kept pointing his finger at me in front of 4 other hotel guests. When asked to apologise, he just laughed!!! I have gone to the police to report him. He should not be managing a hotel !!

It has completely ruined my experience of Arugam Bay and Sri Lanka. This hotel (if you can even call it that) gives Sri Lanka a bad name.

I have photos videos and WhatsApp conversations with the staff to prove I was staying there.

So many things were wrong with this place but the reason I am writing this is because Ansar yelled at me, disrespected me, lied to me and made me feel extremely unsafe.

I do not like leaving bad reviews I have travelled around the world and NEVER have I been treated by such DISRESPECT as I have done by the manager Ansa and his co-manager Fainas. I do not want this to happen again there, especially to women.

They are not there to help you but to manipulate you to get as much money from you as possible!! AVOID this place at all costs. You can find much better and much cleaner for much cheaper elsewhere.

Room is overpriced for what you get in the "breakfast included" package. Apparently the watermelon costs a lot which is why 🤣 LIARS!! I was also charged 20000LKR for the kamuna national park where Faina spent all his time getting drunk and smoking instead of being a tour guide. It was extremely unprofessional.

There are much cleaner and cheaper places to stay!!! Keep looking.

The room also had a rat in it, no towels, cockroaches and spiders. The water stopped working, etc etc... Disgusting place, management and staff!!
