Pros:

Staff were very attentive and gave good suggestions. Gave us Sri Lankan breakfast when we asked instead of continental. Good peaceful location and quiet, fairly close to the beach and other restaurants.

Cons:

Room wasn't cleaned when we asked (maybe we came back to the room too early) but they gave us towels whenever we asked. The pool was lovely but did have a little debris from trees but it would be difficult to stop that.

Meget godt, sikkert og trygt
Pros:

Personalet er virkelig søde og taler både engelsk og tamilsk. De er gæstfrie. Morgenmaden er god og kan nydes udenfor ved poolen.
Området er perfekt!

Cons:

Morgenmaden er godt. Begrænset men der er en god buffet.

Will stay again simply because of the great service offered by all the staff.
Pros:

Top marks to all of the staff who were just lovely., no request was too much. Hotel was kept clean and tidy all of the time. Breakfast requests were catered for, it was a bit noisy with the crows at all hours of the day.

Cons:

Crows. End of season vibe.

El personal que trabaja allí es simplemente MARAVILLOSO! nos han tratado como familia, de forma cercana y atenta en todo momento. Durante una semana de estancia nos hemos sentido como en casa en este hotel. Sin duda volveremos!

Comfortable stay close to the beach.

Trincomalee is a divine place and we will visit again. But, will never stay at this place!
Pros:

If temple visit is the main aim, then the location of this villa seems a bit away and we found better options, in terms of cost, ambience and experience, closer to the temple upon visiting the place. Staff were warm but when they had to handle issues we encountered, we saw some long faces.

Cons:

The room charges at the time of booking was different from what they actually charged us as they used the dollar conversion whereas we froze the booking on INR. This was a bit disappointing. Preparation of lunch took a bit of a time. The taste was very very average. The room that was allotted to us initially had water seepage problem in the bathroom (flush water flowing back on to the floor... yew!). We asked for a change, they did not like it initially but when we insisted, they accommodated it. Had we known about the issues, we wouldn't have definitely stayed at this place.

Amazing staff, very good a/c
Pros:

The highlight was definitely the staff - they were really helpful and friendly, the breakfast was great - a lot of different things and the accommodation was (in our experience since we were travelling a little bit on a budget) really nice - with a/c, good bathroom, the highlight was also the pool.

Lo staff molto cordiale e disponibile.

Cons:

Il personale della struttura è squisitamente accogliente ma purtroppo il giudizio generale è deludente! Le foto sembrano meglio della realtà. Siamo stati 5 notti a fine agosto.
Si trova all’interno di una strada sterrata, a circa 300 mt dalla spiaggia (non hanno posti riservati sulla spiaggia, quindi bisogna arrangiarsi).

La struttura è tenuta male, trasandata e poco pulita. La piscina inutilizzabile perché l’acqua è davvero sporca. Anche la camera, soprattutto il bagno, non è molto pulito. Il sedile del water ha un alone giallo!
Se si soggiorna più di una notte, la pulizia della camera va chiesta esplicitamente, ma purtroppo non puliscono più di tanto.
Le finestre hanno delle tende oscuranti ma che non oscurano affatto, quindi entra tanta luce in camera.
Il bagno ha doccia aperta ed ogni volta che si usa si allaga tutto il resto del bagno, abbiamo dovuto chiedere di asciugare perché si scivolava e di darci un tappetino per uscire dalla doccia perché mancava.
La colazione scarsa sia come proposta che per la qualità del cibo ed il livello di pulizia degli attrezzi è davvero basso (il bollitore dell’acqua calda era lercio!)
Inoltre le stanze danno su il giardino interno con la piscina e c’è rumore anche dal mattino presto; organizzano cene e feste di compleanno con musica a tutto volume e schiamazzi fino a tardi, proprio fuori dalla porta delle camere!
Decisamente sopravvalutato! Ci sono dei posti migliori dove soggiornare.
