Jungle paradise
Pros:

Great location away from Tangalle set on a beautiful beach in it's own little jungle. Our Villa was very peaceful alongside the main hotel, short walk to restaurant, beach, pool and hotel facilities. Large, clean and comfortable rooms. Nice buffet breakfast and good choices for evening meals and drinks.
Pool area nice and towels provided.
Ideal location to travel to Yala national park, highly recommended.

Cons:

Staff were lovely although some communication difficulties when ordering in restaurant, restaurant manager very helpful though.
Not many sunbeds around the pool or on the beach for the amount of guests, especially when people leave their towels there! However there were chairs available as well.

Beautiful beachfront resort — perfect for a relaxing stay
Pros:

We had a great stay at Lagoon Paradise Beach Resort.

The location is excellent, right beside a clean and quiet beach with few tourists. Swimming in the sea was great fun for youths and adults due to big waves, but not suitable for small children.

The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Although we stayed there at peak season, the resort areas did not feel crowdy. The surrounding areas were quiet, since the resort was located a few hundred meters from nearby hotels. But a short walk along the beach took you to beachside road with plenty of restaurants.

The pool area was very nice and clean, with plenty of sunbeds available at all times. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable.

We also enjoyed the wildlife in and around the resort. Monkeys, peacocks, and monitor lizards by the river were common sights.

However, what set this place apart was the staff. When travelling in Sri Lanka you get used to meeting smiling, friendly and helpful locals, but here they went one step further. The waiter that took the time to teach my son how to throw fish net in the lagoon like the locals. The receptionist that let us borrow his personal helmet when the rentals didn't fit. And last but not least, the general manager who was seemingly everywhere all the time, arranging trips, booking transportation, and just making sure we had a great time.

After one week we left with a strange feeling, almost like leaving a family member behind.

Highly recommended.

Pros:

Чудовий комплекс: гарні номери, великий басейн, смачний ресторан на березі океану, ще й річка, по якій можна сплавитися на каяці — просто на території. В час нашого перебування готель ще й приймав вечірку — було супер.

Cons:

Єдиний мінус — готель привітний до росіян, а відтак їх тут чимало, майте на увазі. На щастя, нам пощастило зустріти українців, тож ми триматися разом)

Un paradiso terrestre
Pros:

Struttura bellissima, immersa nel verde, un vero Paradiso terrestre. Si mangia benissimo, la stanza è pulita e lo staff super gentile.
Una menzione particolare per Luca, l’addetto alle relazioni con gli ospiti, la sua presenza rende il tuo soggiorno ancora più confortevole.

Lagoon is a great resort.
Pros:

The staff, especially Lucky and the location. Free use of kayaks was a nice touch to explore the lagoon.

Cons:

Not a complaint, more of a preference but there were too many children, screaming constantly, felt like a kindergarten

Aangenaam resort op een mooie locatie bij Tangalle
Pros:

Heerlijk zwembad, veel faciliteiten zoals een TukTukservice van het hotel en eigen busje voor transport naar volgende locatie

Cons:

Het was laagseizoen, waardoor er veel personeel rond loopt dat eigenlijk te weinig te doen heeft. En zich vervolgens aan je opdringen om tegen een fooi of extra betaling extra service te willen bieden. Dat voelde niet heel prettig.

Pros:

The Most beautiful beach I have seen in Sri Lanka. You can go swimming only left hand behind the rocks. Very clean and big rooms. Good AC,shower always warm. The kids loved the pool, I really loved the Kajaks you can use for free to explore the Lagoon.
We tried an Ayurveda Massage and can recommend it.
The Restaurant Big Crocodile has great food,the staff was very very friendly always.
The Turtle hatchery ist only 6 min away, Mulkirigalla Monastery about 30 min. We also explored Tangallee with fish market, nice Restaurants, street Art, Navy Monument and the Blow Hole and really enjoyed.
Perfect distance to everything.
I highly recommend this Hotel.
