Stunning, luxurious hotel with everything you could need very close to Yala National Park safaris
Pros:

Nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Facilities are incredible - stunning pool, basketball, mini golf, archery and rifle shooting. Best room we had in Sri Lanka, gorgeous bathroom and very comfortable bed. Food and drink were great too - special shoutout to Dushan’s cocktails! Staff are absolutely wonderful, organised our safari and were very attentive throughout. Particular shoutout to Upul who helped us with everything throughout our stay. Will definitely come back if we return to Sri Lanka and will recommend it to all our friends.

Cons:

Our only regret is not staying for more than one night!

Pros:

Hotelazo en medio de la selva muy cerca de la entrada de los safaris (en lo que nunca se ve el leopardo, aunque te mientan con lo contrario) , con piscina y zona de relax muy muy cómoda para pasar la tarde después de los safaris al amanecer. Buen restaurante y muy bien en general todo

Ein schöner Aufenthalt inmitten der Natur
Pros:

Die Lage im Reisfeld in der Nähe des Yala Nationalparks ist perfekt für eine Safari.
Die Zimmer sind extrem groß, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und komfortabel.

Cons:

Das Essen war nicht das was wir sonst in Sri Lanka hatten. Das Personal war bemüht, allerdings wurde den ganzen Tag irgendwo gemäht und es war dadurch sehr laut.
Nachdem wir ausgecheckt und bezahlt hatten habe wir keinen mehr gesehen und sind dann abgefahren

Well worth the money!
Pros:

The staff and facilities were incredible. Special mention to Shehan who went above and beyond and took us for private night time safaris around the hotel, his knowledge and passion for wildlife is incredible, we learnt a lot.

Nothing, it was all great!

Pros:

A beautiful swimming pool with views of the rice paddies at sunset. Excellent service; they packed breakfast for us, and dinner was delicious. The room was excellent and very spacious. I really liked this hotel.

Overall experience was great!
Pros:

Great hospitality by the restaurant staff. Very helpful. They organised everything for the Yala safari, including breakfast. Facilities were good, the pool was great. Location was ideal for the Safari. Other activities available for entertainment.

Cons:

Food was tasty but some dishes seemed old, like the pol sambol. Which should be made everyday. We ordered a Biryani, it was regrettable. Overall, I'd rate the food a 6/10.

Pros:

Wunderschöne privat geführte Anlage mit 8 Zimmer, bzw. eigentlich Suiten. Tolle Designelemente, qualitativ hochwertig, stimmig bis ins letzte Detail. Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter..Essen a la carte

Wonderful escape
Pros:

Loved the pool area and restaurant, all of the decor and general feel of the place were amazing. Lots of wildlife all around - peacocks, water monitors, loads of birds. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Well located for getting to Yala National Park. Overall loved!

Cons:

Didn’t get the best nights sleep as we think we had a peacock on the roof early in the morning both nights of our stay!

Super one night stay, woukd have loved to stay longer
Pros:

Superior room was great, super comfortable bed, nice shower and bath, with separate WC and twin wash basins. Everything was immaculately clean. Air conditioning meant the room was cool on arrival and ensured decent sleep. The pool area is absolutely beautiful- the pictures do not do it justice. We had a lunch and dinner here, both of which were very good. It was a nice touch that they provided a cooler with water and snacks for our early morning safari, then allowed us to have breakfast when we got back from the safari and our check out at 12pm.
Finally, the staff were excellent, so kind, attentive and welcoming.
A great place to stay for a relaxing time or to visit Yala about 12 km away.

Cons:

Only negative was the very rough access road - about 1.5 km of it

Secluded tranquility at Yala
Pros:

We stayed for 3 nights to go on safari, and this was the perfect spot. About 20mins drive to the Yala entrance which was easy to do for the dawn and dusk safaris organised really easily through the hotel.

Wild Culture is very quiet and peaceful and a wonderful place to relax. The pool was excellent to relax around, and we loved our huge room with plenty of space to spread out, nice to have a separate lounge room area, and super comfy bed.

Special mention to the staff who were so friendly and constantly doing everything to make our stay wonderful. Amazing cocktails too!

Cons:

It isn’t near any other restaurants or cafes, so all eating has to be done at the resort, however we found the food to be really good, especially the Sri Lankan dishes.

Lovely stay
Pros:

Lovely hotel with only 8 rooms -all of which have picture windows looking out onto the paddy fields. Huge rooms and bathrooms.
Very quiet and peaceful with a very large pool. Dining in the evening around the pool with a varied menu.
Hotel organised jeep drivers for National Park.
Service great and Opul was especially attentive.
Would highly recommend.
