Pros:

The breakfast and dinners we had here were absolutely delicious with super attentive staff. A very short walk to two different beaches and surrounded by restaurants. Very low key simple accommodation with fans to combat the heat, set in a lovely garden with lots of bird songs.

Ich habe eine sehr schöne und erholsame Zeit hier verbracht.
Pros:

Das Personal war sehr hilfsreich, nett und zuvorkommend. Die Unterkunft ist zwischen zwei schönen Buchten und gleich beim Eingang ist ein liebevolles kleines Dorf mit kleinen aber feinen Restaurants. Auf dem Grundstück sind Affen, Eichhörnchen, Papageien und weitere spannende Tierarten zu sehen.

Good location for Silent Beach and Unakuruwa Beach
Pros:

Little Tamarind is perfectly situated to access beautiful beaches. The breakfast each day was delicious and we really enjoyed our evening meal (rice and fish curry) when we dined in.

Cons:

Access to the hotel is steep. While not an issue for us, this is important for others to bear in mind before booking.

The amenities in the room were a little dated (poor shower drainage, limited hot water and ripped blinds). There’s a ceiling fan but no A/C.

It’s also worthwhile noting that while the hotel does accept card payment, they add a 2.7% bank charge onto the bill. The closest ATM is Tangalle centre.

Pretty much everything but above all, the lovely staff and the cuisine. We enjoyed the suite on the top floor.

Cons:

The only thing was the lack of WiFi in our rooms.

Magical, wish we could have stayed longer
Pros:

The views of the bay and jungle are were exceptional. We were surrounded by monkeys squirrels in the neighbouring trees. All the staff were so accommodating and friendly.

Personeel was bijzonder aardig. Plek is prachtig

Cons:

Accommodatie heeft enkel luiken en geen ramen waardoor alle insecten binnenkomen. Er is wel een klamboe aanwezig maar die beschermt natuurlijk alleen het bed. Geen ramen betekent overigens ook dat alle geluiden van buiten duidelijk hoorbaar zijn (ruziënde straathonden, etc.)

Keuken is goed uitgerust maar heeft bijvoorbeeld geen peper/zout en olie. Toch gastvrij als dit wel aanwezig is.

Met nog een andere dingetjes simpelweg wat aan de dure kant voor wat je krijgt.

Cons:

El precio pareció un poco elevado para lo que ofrecen y para otras opciones alrededor, sobre todo porque la casita que alquilamos no tenia AC, tenía espacios en las paredes abiertos donde entraban mosquitos,etc y nada de vistas como muestran las otras fotos . Lo mismo con las actividades que organizan parecían un poco caras en comparación con opciones alrededor. Imagino que las habitaciones de arriba serán hermosas y con buena vista pero no las de la casita.

El alojamiento muy bonito, un sitio relajante en lo alto de la montaña , con muy buenas vistas sobre el mar. La habitación amplia y limpia. Una gran terraza con hamaca para relajarse mirando el mar. La cena, estaba buena. Personal agradable. Nos dejaron hacer check in antes de la hora. Buen desayuno, aunque la opción continental es pagando un extra.

Cons:

Se aprovechan al determinar el cambio a moneda local. El precio del hotel eran 100$, pero el cambio aplicado por el manager fue absolutamente exagerado, un 7% más, cosa que no encontré en ningún hotel de Sri Lanka. Eso unido al recargo por pago con tarjeta, practica más habitual, es lo que más me disgustó.

Vista sul mare, vicinanza a Silent Beach, staff gentile, camera spaziosa, letto molto comodo, possibilità di pranzare/cenare sul posto a costi contenuti

Cons:

Finestre aperte quindi alla sera entravano vari insetti ed animaletti e molti odori non sempre piacevoli. Nei dintorni non c’è molto, nemmeno un supermercato. Rapporto qualità/prezzo un po’ alto. Se si paga con la carta c’è un sovrapprezzo. Salita importante per arrivare all’alloggio.
