Great safari location and amazing food!
Pros:

Our stay was very comfortable, with a balcony looking out over the rice fields, and the host was very attentive. She helped organise our safari trip to Yala National Park and also cooked us two delicious evening meals (up there with some of the best rice and curry we tried). Highly recommend

Pros:

The view of the rice fields from the balcony was very nice. The host prepared a tasty Srilankan dinner for us and arranged a taxi to take us to our next destination.

Cons:

The facilities are dated and require upgradation. The rooms are on the first floor and it is difficult for senior citizens to carry their luggage up the stairs. The bathroom door locked itself in the middle of the night.

Guter Unterkunft für Yala
Pros:

Wir waren nur eine Nacht für den Besuch des Yala NP. Schönes gepflegtes Haus mit bequemen Betten und sehr großer Terrasse. Wir haben sehr leckeres Rice und Curry zu Abend gegessen. Der Gastgeber hat uns noch seinen selbst gemachten Büffeljoghurt serviert. Die Gastgeber versuchen den Gästen den Aufenthalt so gut wie möglich zu ermöglichen.
Von der Terrasse kann man die Pfauen beobachten.

Cons:

Etwas abgelegen, dafür sehr ruhig.

Pros:

I stayed here for the Yala safari and had a very pleasant experience. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was comfortable. The lady who owns the property was very kind and helpful – even before my arrival, she contacted me to assist with organizing the safari tour. The safari itself was well-arranged: I was picked up in the morning and dropped back in the evening. For dinner, the property also has a restaurant where you can eat; I tried it and enjoyed the meal. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay and would recommend this place.

Cons:

There were only a few small downsides: in the bathroom there was only one small bar of soap, with no shower gel provided – it would be nice to have shower gel available. A separate towel for hair would also be useful. Finally, some small insects entered the room, probably because the hotel is located in a natural area, so maybe something could be done to reduce this.

Struttura bellissima,e pulitissima.I proprietari di casa sono persone splendide.Abbiamo cenato da loro e il cibo era ottimo,cucinato al momento.La colazione era squisita.
I proprietari ci hanno venduto ad un ottimo prezzo pietre preziose in collaborazione con venditori ufficiali e con garanzia allegata.
Consiglio a tutti questa struttura e ringrazio i proprietari per l ospitalità.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, safari tour little disappointing

Cons:

Booked safari tour via hotel. Guide provided by Yala park left before entered the park.
Did not see any leopard, although we asked driver to go to Elephant Rock as there was a leopard with babies, driver stayed within bushes. We assume there is an agreement between park rangers and non park rangers.

Todo muy bien!
Pros:

Bien situado en Tissa, el personal agradable y dispuesto a ayudar. Puedes contratar con ellos el safari de Yala a buen precio.

Cons:

Lo único que les falta sería una piscina! Hace mucho calor en esa zona, si tuvieran piscina ya sería perfecto!
