Nice hotel close to elephant orphanage
Pros:

Clean and comfortable rooms. Across the street from Pinnawala Elephant orphanage. Friendly staff and very helpful.

Cons:

Bathroom could use some updating.

Pros:

Сервіс на високому рівні. Через дорогу притулок для слонів. Умови супер. Чисто смачний сніданок та вечері.Персонал дуже уважний. Велика подяка адміністратору Асанке він завжди до нас був уважний і у всьому допомагав. Також кожного дня о 10 та 12 годині поблизу ведуть слонів купатися до річки ,від вілли це за 50 метрів.Однозначно рекомендую цю віллу . Це як 5 зірковий готель. Перебувати тут одне задоволення 🥰

Would recommend to anyone staying in Pinawala
Pros:

Lovely big beds, staff really friendly. Great to also have a pool and good location.

Cons:

No alcohol on the menu, we would have liked to have a beer with dinner on one of the nights to celebrate a birthday.

Cons:

Cleaning should be improved, the kettle was dirty from coffee from previous guests.., (Who is brewing coffee in the kettle?🤦🏽‍♀️)

The bathroom has a nice bathtub you can’t use… the water pressure is so weak that it will take a month to fill it. And it was constantly dripping.

The food in their restaurant was a disappointment as well: the beef sandwich was impossible to chew, and the noodles were soooo oily…

Started on a bad note but the food and the entire staff team made us forget the bad experience

The food was very yummy and the team at the Restaurant was also very good. Very peaceful ambience near the pool. The entire crew of the hotel is very good

Cons:

When we first checked in we were upset initially as the hot water was not available and we had already opened our baggage and was in the process of getting ready for sightseeing. Then it was a big hassle shifting our room and we lost more than an hour in the process. Initially they wasted lot of time trying to make the heater work. However the staff was very good and calm. It was a technical problem.

Sehr beliebter kleiner Ort durch das Elefanten Hospital. Hat nicht viel mit Sri Lanka zu tun, man kommt kaum an dem Park
Pros:

Restaurant war in Ordnung und das Personal war sehr nett.

Cons:

Die Handtücher und die Bettdecken waren fleckig. Der Durchlauferhitzer für Warmwasser hat nicht funktioniert.

Would definitely recommend if coming to Pinawala :)
Pros:

Staff went above and beyond for our one night stay. From the moment we arrived they helped us with our luggage and provided us with a welcome drink and towels for around the pool! They also delivered room service in the evening.

Cons:

There were ants in the bathroom and also a loud rodent on the roof (not the hotels fault but did give us a scare). We asked the staff the next day what it was and it was very interesting to hear all about it and what animal it was.

Disappointed avoid!
Pros:

Location to elephant sanctuary

Cons:

Room was tiny, no hot water in the shower, uncomfortable bed and pillows breakfast was awful paid extra and went to
Local coffee shop.
The whole place is run down and very shabby building work staring at 7.30 and going on all day, drills and power tools making a din while trying to relax around the pool not on at all given the star rating of 3 they are pushing it slightly would not recommend at all.
