It is a pleasant hotel right on the beach. The hotel grounds are well maintained and clean apart from a few hiccups.
Pros:

My room needed to be fumigated as I had an ant infestation in the bathroom. The property itself is lovely and cosy. The hotel is right on the beach and the pool is outside your room.
My AC broke down and was fixed instantly. Unfortunately the ant infestation made the stay uncomfortable.

Cons:

The German owner was reasonable and apologetic but the duty manager turned on us and was rude and ignorant. He showed his true colours and was not professional.

Perfekter Aufenthalt mit traumhaftem Strand, tollem Pool, großartigem Essen und sehr herzlichem Personal – absolut empfe
Pros:

Unser Aufenthalt im Pearl Island Beach Hotel war rundum perfekt. Der Strand direkt vor dem Hotel ist wunderschön und ideal zum Entspannen. Auch der Poolbereich ist sehr gepflegt und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das gesamte Team war unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch das Essen – alles war sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet.

Cons:

Es gab wirklich nichts zu beanstanden.

Schönes, kleines Beach Hotel in Hikkaduwa
Pros:

Ich war vier Nächte im Pearl Island Beach Hotel und es hat sich absolut gelohnt.

Ein wunderbar kleines, familiäres Beach-Hotel, in dem man sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und wohlfühlt. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt und persönlich – genau das Richtige, wenn man Ruhe und Erholung sucht.

Besonders schön ist das kleine Open-Air-Restaurant. Das Essen war fantastisch, frisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Es gab ausreichend Liegestühle und der direkte Zugang zum Strand ist einfach perfekt.

Der Strand selbst ist ein Traum: kilometerlanger Sandstrand, auf dem man oft ganz für sich ist. Man kann problemlos drei Kilometer nach links oder rechts laufen – einfach nur Meer, Sand und Weite.

Kein Luxus-Hotel – aber ein absolut top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wer es familiär, entspannt und authentisch mag, ist hier genau richtig.

Ich komme gerne wieder.

Wonderful relaxing place to stay.
Pros:

It was fantastic. Staff were friendly and very accommodating for everything we needed. Rooms were clean and comfy beds. Great place to stay. Free sun beds direct access to the beach. Pool was lovely and clean. Breakfasts were excellent. Would stay again definitely.very local for everything.

Tolles Hotel in bester Lage - absolute Empfehlung !
Pros:

Es war die beste Unterkunft die ich in Sri Lanka hatte!
Super Lage finde ich. Zwar etwas außerhalb, trotzdem ist man in ein paar Minuten mit dem TukTuk oder zu Fuß am Strand entlang in Hikkaduwa.
Toller, breiter und sauberer Strandabschnitt. Sehr entspannt alles.
Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Es gibt einen Pool mit Blick aufs Meer. Liegen und Sonnenschirme stehen ausreichend zur Verfügung. Gegenüber ist ein kleiner Supermarkt.
Die Eigentümer sowie das Personal ist äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und angenehm.
Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet und zum Frühstück gibt es wahlweise auch Sauerteigbrot :)

Ich kann das Hotel absolut empfehlen und werde sicher wiederkommen.

Außerdem kann man dort jeden Abend die wunderschönen Sonnenuntergänge anschauen.
