Perfect verblijf en een aanrader!
Pros:

During our trip to the South we decided for a stay in Kalutara. We only wanted to book one night, however, after seeing the place we booked an extra night so we could enjoy the day at the hotel. And this was a very good decision! With the super attentive service and kindness of Mister Duminda, Miss Nimesha from the restaurant and Miss Shakila from the front desk we had such a lovely time at Turyaa hotel. All the extra attention while being pregnant is very much appreciated. I even got advise on what foods to eat and not, which means a lot while being pregnant and abroad!
The room was spacious with an amazing view and a very good shower.
We also enjoyed the pool and the food very much and are actually sad to leave today! But our journey to the South will continue. To all the staff at Turyaa who we met in the past 48 hours: thank you for everything. You were kind and we hope to see you again in the future! Kind regards, S & T

Pros:

I recently stayed at Turyaa Kalutara from 23rd to 25th March 2026, and it was a truly enjoyable experience.
The rooms are spacious, well-designed, and exceptionally clean. The bathrooms feel modern, with new fittings and quality amenities that add to the overall comfort. Hygiene standards inside the rooms were outstanding, which made the stay very relaxing.
We opted for the full board option, and the three-meal buffet was impressive. There was a wide variety of both Sri Lankan and European dishes, catering to different tastes and prepared to a high standard.
One of the highlights of the stay was the staff. They were consistently friendly, attentive, and responsive, always ready to assist with a smile. Their service really enhanced the overall experience.
The pool facilities are excellent, with two large pools and attentive poolside service. The water remains pleasantly warm even in the evening, making it a joy to swim at any time of day.
The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained. The garden is clean, well-organised, and adds a peaceful atmosphere to the property. In the evenings, the live music and cultural shows are particularly engaging, offering a meaningful glimpse into Sri Lankan culture and history.
This is a great destination for families, especially those travelling with children, as the environment is both welcoming and enjoyable for all age groups.
Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money. All facilities are well-maintained and fully functional, and the open architectural design with high ceilings gives a sense of space and elegance.
I would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and culturally enriching stay.

Enjoyed every bit of the passing time.
Pros:

I enjoyed every bit of the foods we were consumed. Staff also attractive and humble as well towards the guests. Room and facilities were all good. we have enjoyed every bit of the time we spend there.

Cons:

I believe I could have been more enjoyable had that foods varieties to the breakfast rather than having ordinary sri Lankan food items. Seems Ok though..

Turyaa is a damn good property, please train your people for a smooth stay for foreigners like us.
Pros:

Chef Balbir Singh and Chef Jaynekar are really understanding and arranged Vegetarian food for us. We need more people like them in your Resort.

Cons:

1. Overall the laid back approach in staff attitudes isn’t appreciated at all.
2. Untrained housekeeping staff is a big set back and that caused us problems.
3. Please work on training your staff well.
4. Language is a big issue among your staff, they should be able to understand basic English. We always had to tell them in sign language.

Je suis restée bloquée à cet hôtel suite aux évènements du Moyen-Orient.Direction qui applique des prix prohibitifs et qui bloque les chambres sur Booking,chambre sale, ménage approximatif, piscine vieillotte, repas pas top. Bref, hôtel à fuir
