Gyönyörű helyen, csodálatos udvar, nagy tiszta medence. Személyzet kedves.
Madarak, kisállatok, szuper pihenős hely. Igazi sri lankai idill

Cons:

Pont a konyha fölött volt a szobánk, így az hangos volt. Az elszívó is és a szag sajnos bejött a szobákba is.
A reggelinél kicsit nehézkesen mennek a dolgok. Lassan, nehezen szolgáltak ki, de az ételek finomak.

Wow what an amazing place! The beds are comfortable, the WiFi works well. The staff are very friendly. The pool area is great. The tropical gardens are so beautiful set in natural surroundings. Food is fantastic and good price. Not too far from Turtle beach.

A quiet relaxing oasis of calm

A quiet oasis in the countryside a
short tuk tuk ride away from the bustling beach and town of Unawatuna. We had a room high up in the trees with a beautiful Verander to relax and feel a welcome breeze. The swimming pool area had plenty of loungers and shade. All the staff were extremely welcoming and a special shout out to the reception staff sadew, Oshadhi and Senudi. We had a great breakfast choice with freshly made omelets and pancakes. Would highly recommend if you are seeking a calm relaxing environment.

A green oasis of peace and calm away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of town.
Pros:

We liked the beautiful gardens, the swimming pool area with high quality sunbeds, the restaurant and the general air of a luxury retreat in a kind of faded colonial style. We loved the wall art in the room depicting wild birds and sitting outside on the verandah to watch and listen to the birds.

Cons:

I would only politely suggest that the bathroom of our room could be improved with replacement of the plants in the outside area (by the shower), which we’re looking rather unhealthy. They could be replaced with artificial ones if necessary. The area would also benefit from having the walls freshly painted. This did not detract from our overall enjoyment of the room, however.

Lovely facilities, but improvements to be made on food
Pros:

Big spacious rooms with AC and balcony. Beautiful location with lots of green. Great pool.

Cons:

The food could be improved. I feel it’s important to point out that what you see on their instagram is not true to real life (in our experience). Anything sri lankan/indian is good and tasty though so one recommend ordering that.

Breakfast is fine but sometimes cold depending on what time you go. The first night we had dinner there and ordered vegetarian and a chicken meal arrived. We also ordered sri lankan breakfast for our last morning the day before (as requested they need more time to prepare) and in the morning the restaurant staff knew nothing about it. Thankfully the kind waiter asked the kitchen to prepare anyway and it didn’t take long.

Our experience with the food sadly did taint the our visit.

Pros:

I really enjoyed the setting of the hotel, right in the midst of the rainforest and so well integrated in it. The pool is also wonderful, and the staff is always willing to help. The restaurant serves amazing food at honest prices.

A tranquil retreat
Pros:

We loved our rooms high up with a view of the tree canopy. The beds and pillows are comfy and the rooms are nicely appointed. The pool is fantastic and we loved strolling the garden to spot all the birds and wildlife. Breakfast was very good.

Ótimo alojamento onde transmite muito sossego, quarto muito confortável e pequeno almoço excelente.
Pros:

Lugar muito tranquilo, longe de barulho e confusão. Pequeno almoço muito bom e quantidades generosas. Quarto muito limpo e confortável. Boa piscina.
O Sadew foi muito atencioso e prestável ao ficar à nossa espera para o check in tardio, pois chegamos à noite.
