Good place for a good price
Pros:

Very nice place, super clean and calm. The large bed is comfortable with a perfect mosquito net. The Bathroom is big with a proper shower. Good view from the balcony. Awesome family, extremely friendly and helpful. The location is at a beautiful beach where you can snorkel and swim with turtles. Relax

Had a comfortable stay, would recommend.
Pros:

The room was lovely and clean and the staff were very helpful. The beach was less than 2 minutes walk. Their laundry service was exceptional.

Cons:

The hotel was a little far out of town, however I feel that was reflected in the price. So overall can’t complain.

Exceptional
Pros:

Super nice family that cares a lot about making your stay as comfortable and nice as possible! Rooms are spacious, very clean and with a comfy bed and even hot shower. The property is green and beautiful and close to the beach.

Very good
Pros:

The calm, the room is clean, the family is very helpful and wants to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Cons:

It was a bit hot in the evening since I can't sleep with the fan on, so just to keep in mind if you're like me. Also, the beach is a bit far if you don't have a bike, but the bus is available and cheap.

Local spot. Good and simple people!
Pros:

The simpathy of the owner and her family :)
The room is clean and tidy 😁
The place is near the beach (no sand just rocks) and it as a nice patio and place outside 🌞

Cons:

Pillows smelled bad ended up using my own pillow sheet..

Quiet, restful, peaceful accomodation
Pros:

4 separate rooms, side by side linked by outside walkway edging the garden, ideal for friends or a family with older children. Quiet and private. Clean well equipped kitchen available and accessible for guests.
Close to the sea but had to walk a bit to a place to swim, collected shells as we walked.
Excellent host, on hand and did everything possible to help us. Excellent value.

Very nice people, great privacy, but could use some work
Pros:

The staff are incredibly nice, the welcome coconut was a really nice touch on a hot day.

The price for the sea view and garden view rooms is the same though the garden room ones are in better condition.

The privacy is great, no one bothers you like at many homestays in Sri Lanka. For working remotely this would be a good destination.

Cons:

-Shower is old and the top one didn’t work
-Bed is relatively small and you have to sleep diagonally to fit if you are over 1.8m tall
-It’s far to walk to the main beaches in Mirissa, the bus is 50 rupees and comes by every few minutes though
