A wonderful hotel on a beautiful beach
Pros:

We stayed here for 10 days over Easter this year, as a family of 4 with two teenage kids. We were looking for rest, sun and good food. This hotel is in a perfect location on the most beautiful beach. A 10 minute walk to Turtle Bay, where you can swim with turtles and a quick Tuk Tuk ride to Hiriketika, which has lots of shops and restaurants.
The staff at the hotel are wonderful. They are very friendly and kind and breakfast was fresh and delicious. A lovely owner too. 10 out of 10, would recommend.

Lovely restaurant on the beach with top notch service
Pros:

We ate twice at the restaurant here. Both times they set up a table on the beach. The food and service were very good. As it was the birthday of one of our party they decorated our table and got a special birthday cake for us which was delicious. Prices are slightly higher than average Sri Lankan restaurants but not excessively and the service makes up for this!

Fantantic little find
Pros:

Small family run hotel. Staff outstanding.
Nothing was too much trouble, we absolutely loved it. Perfect for 4 dsys of R n R.
The food was delicious, and they cooked us a traditional curry which was served on the beach to us. Quiet end of Dikewella beach which we loved.
Location was great as we could walk easily into town along the beach.

Casa Smeralda - это одно из лучших воспоминаний в моей жизни.
Pros:

С семьей останавливались в Casa Smeralda. Это незабываемый отдых. Очень все вкусно. Отличный сервис. Любая просьба - не проблема. Интернет по WiFi - проводной. Вся техника - новая.

Pros:

A older but comfortable hotel, with a pool with ocean view. A almost private beach, which is wide and shallow. Perfect to swim in. The rooms are nice and characteristic. Personel is very friendly and like to have a chat. .

Cons:

The food was mediocre, would recommend going to a local restaurant for fish or curries

Squeaky clean place
Pros:

Place was super clean, better than a 7 star. Deco on point. A/C was good.

Cons:

There is no privacy in the pool , the owner should spend more time in the hotel so she can observe and improve this situation. ALSO, you could hear the buses in the road honking in the room.
