ganz tolle Atmosphäre, sehr gute Küche, aber kein Hotel
Pros:

Die Lage: Die ist so wie sie ist, also "am Arsch der Welt". Das weiß man und wir haben das extra so ausgesucht, um das ländliche Lettland kennenzulernen. Die Natur in der Umgebung ist wunderschön.

Die Atmosphäre: Das alte Herrenhaus ist behutsam und mit Augenmaß restauriert worden, nicht über-restauriert. Ich finde das sehr gelungen, sehr authentisch. Man sieht und spürt überall sehr viel Herzblut und Arbeit.

Die Küche: Es ist zwar kein echtes Restaurant, man kann also nicht wie üblich aus einer Karte auswählen. Man muss sich mit etwas Vorlaufzeit mit Nora absprechen. Wir hatten zum Beispiel Perlhuhn (wo bekommt man sowas schon?), das schmeckte wie verrückt, erstklassig. Zu allen Gerichten gab es Gemüse aus dem Garten. Die Desserts sind erstklassig gewesen. Zum Frühstück gab es zum Beispiel Omelett, das war auch sehr lecker. Ich mochte auch das zum Teil alte Geschirr, die alten Gläser. Die Preise für das Essen und die Getränke sind aber mindestens auf dem Niveau wie in einem guten Restaurant in Riga, also hoch.

Parkplatz ist auf dem Hof, direkt vorm Haus.

Cons:

Das Haus ist schon ein Hotel. So steht es im Namen. Und zu einem Hotel gehört eine tägliche Zimmerreinigung. Die hat es aber in drei Tagen nie gegeben.

Skaista autentiskā vieta, dārzs, dīķis, majas putni čivina pagalmā un upe blakus. Patīkami atrasties teritorijā.
Labs restorāna piedāvājums.

Cons:

Dzirdamība numuriņos no koridora. Var dzirdēt katru vārdu un skaņu no citiem viesiem no koridora, kas traucē gulēt.

Jauka muiža ar vienkāršu, bet labu restorānu un skaistu parku. Muižā ir interesants interjers un tuvumā ir dīķis, kur var peldēties. Laba apkalpošana un skaista teritorija.

Bijām uz vienu diennakti. Viss bija augstā līmenī. Atbraucām ātrāk par iečekošanās laiku, neskatoties uz to mūs ielaida numuriņā ātrāk. Ļoti laipni saimnieki. Brīnišķīga atpūtas vieta pie dabas. Izmantojām iespēju pa ezeru ar supdēļiem izbraukt. Ir bērnu laukums. Ļoti garšīgas brokastis un vakariņas. Noteikti iesaku.

Beautifully located old manor, in a park by the Daugava River. The beds are very comfortable. The hosts are charming. Warning – there’s a serious risk that after breakfast you won’t be able to move from being so full :-)
