Good place to stay for the party area close to clubs and restaurants.
Pros:

The staff was super friendly and kind. The location is good for the party side.

Cons:

The hotels needs a little face lift of the rooms and the furniture. They can could use an ice machine as well.

Comfortable with great staff and accommodations
Pros:

Staff was incredible. Everyone we spoke with was very helpful in navigating and planning our trip. There’s also a kitchen you can use which is great for saving money and planning.

Cons:

My only comment is it doesn’t have beach front access, but that is more of an issue regarding Tulum rather than the hotel!

Tolle Lage nahe des Strandes und das Highlight ist eine eigene private Cenote die kostenlos beim Schwesterhotel besucht werden kann. Völlig ungestört kann man das kristallklare Wasser genießen. Absolut fantastisch!!!

Pros:

Unser Zimmer (Nr. 6) und das Bad waren sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Terrasse mit Blick in den Dschungel begeisterte uns ebenfalls. Obwohl es so zentral liegt, hatten wir es ruhig. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Im Hotel Ahau (200 m entfernt) konnten wir den Privatstrand nutzen und ein 2. Partnerhotel, 3 km entfernt, hat eine eigene Cenote. Top!

Pros:

The manager, Oziel, made our experience! We came back late after a wedding and were looking for tacos. After we realized everything was closed, the manager offered to make us free tacos and even some pizza and cake. We stayed up chatting and drinking wine. He made tacos for 5 of us and staff. We learned more about Tulum, what to see, what it's like living there. You don't get these kind of experiences when you stay in the corporate lux hotels. They also helped book a taxi to the airport that was much cheaper than any taxi I asked on the street. Lovely local hotel, great price, great location.

There was no water when they said there would be, no wifi passwords or instructions, poor facilities, couldn’t use hairdryers. They started using heavy machinery at 6am which they were cutting down trees that hit our window and woke us up on a Saturday morning. Not a great experience.

Property light went out when we check in and they said they said the generator will only hold two rooms when we booked for 3. No wifi because it will also go out. Poor water pressure. The host will disappear to one hotel to another. There was nobody there to assist you. RUN! We left within hours.
