Beautiful place. I enjoyed the massages and the very kind staff some of whom speak excellent English
Pros:

Great breakfast choices: fresh fruit, bread, and a tasty omelette. The price was reasonable, and above all, the food was freshly cooked and tasty.

Cons:

It's rained on some days, which limited time on the beach. But overall, I was able to walk along the bridge at night and enjoy the sunset and the breeze.

A home away in paradise!
Pros:

The location and staff! 1. The location is perfect for Ile Sainte-Marie! Brilliant snorkeling from the hotel pier/rock island…that’s one reason enough to stay here. Non-guests are charged $8 to swim here because it’s so idyllic. Libertalia is perfect distance to the island’s “town”, not close enough so there’s peace yet walking to town takes only 15-20mins and a gorgeous walk along the beach road, through clean local villages. 2. I stayed for a week and got to know the staff well, like family they became. Very, very nice and helpful and a few spoke English really well, so communicating wasn’t an issue since I am very short on French. I also like that penzione is not included, so there are options to go out to dinner if desired.

Cons:

Hmmm. I hate to say anything I didn’t like because I really did love Libertalia. I’m not sure I would change anything.

I’ve stayed at Princesse Bora previously, which is a bit more “polished” but also twice the cost. Libertalia is FANTASTIC for its price point…I look forward to staying here again for a long holiday, for sure!

One has to remember that WiFi and electricity and plumbing on this remote island wax and wane, so be patient, but this is an island issue, not a specific hotel issue, and actually, Libertalia had better WiFi than other places I’ve stayed on Ile Sainte-Marie.

L'établissement, le personnel, le service tout etaient impeccable. Les petits conseils pratique du personnel sur la sécurité, les activités et comment les faires, les contacts des autres prestataires sur places (locations ,restaurants, sorties et autres activités ) , trop aimable et professionnel.

Pros:

Cet hôtel est merveilleux, nous y sommes restés 1 semaine ! L emplacement est top, l établissement est bien équipé : coin télé, un billard, le resto est succulent et toujours avec des nouveaux plats locaux, l extérieur plage piscine ponton est superbe! C est un endroit apaisant, c est très propre. Les chambres sont très belle et bien agencées, la literie impeccable. Le staff est merveilleux !!! Ils sont souriants, gentils et serviables. Les patrons sont adorables également. C est un établissement familial où on s'y sent comme a la maison.

Hotel avec vue magnifique
Pros:

La piscine à débordement avec vue sur le canal de sainte marie et sur la grande terre à l' horizon.
Son ponton avec transat et accès a la mer même à marée basse et un rocher pouvant servir de plongeoir. D' ailleurs un coucher de soleil à couper le souffle
Les parties communes du restaurant avec divers endroits où se poser pour boire, manger. Internet sur l' ensemble de l' établissement.
Un personnel au top, gentil, bienveillant et qui organise de vos envies d' excursions. Un chef cuistot qui propose trois entrées, 3 plats principaux et 3 desserts différents tous les jours avec des produits frais et qui est au top.
La proximité avec la ville principale qui n' est qu à 1k5.
J'ai passé un agréable moment au libertalia.

Agréable lieu à refaire sans hésiter
Pros:

Nous avons apprécié le calme et la situation géographique de l’hôtel ainsi que le restaurant et le lobby qui partage une décoration de bon goût et des activités avec vue sur l’eau .

Cons:

Manque de bouteilles d’eau dans la chambre, pas de savon à main de disponible , pas de réfrigérateur dans la chambre et la baignade impossible de la plage a cause des oursins.

L'emplacement, et la vue. Les bungalows sont face à la plage, avec de supers couchés de soleil.
Le snorkeling depuis le ponton.

Accueil , gentillesse, disponibilité du personnel, au-delà de ce qu'on espère. Emplacement magnifique, proche du centre ville (aisément atteignable à pied), environnement, cuisine, bref, tout en fait ! 2ème séjour dans cet hôtel et toujours le
même petit coin de paradis ! Jamais deux sans trois, on reviendra sûrement !

Cons:

Juste pour chipoter mais on peut évidement s'en passer, un mini frigo dans la chambre pour avoir de l'eau fraiche la nuit ou pour conserver sa salade de fruits quand on a trop mangé pour prendre son dessert tout de suite !😁
