This is now my first choice hotel in Kota Kinabalu.
Pros:

Stayed here three times before, so knew what to expect (and have already booked for another trip). Convenient free parking (just outside the door). Large rooms, efficient air-conditioning.

Cons:

Long walk from the lift to our room when in room 407.

Avoid traffic in the town area.

Cons:

After checking in, I found bugs on the bed, which made me think they hadn't changed the sheets. The toilet was clogged, but the maintenance staff came and fixed it. The air conditioning wasn't working well at night; the room was still very hot several hours later…
