The owner practices racism. I would not recommend it to anyone. Badly treated. While I was a guest, I was assumed as a thief. Just because I am of different race. Booking ought to remove them. Stupendously people. Hot shower is not working too.
Abbiamo prenotato per una notte, in realtà ci siamo fermate per tre notti. L'hotel è a due passi dalla stazione dei bus e non così lontano da quella dei treni, ci si può andare a piedi.
Staff gentile e disponibile.
Camera molto grande, anche il bagno era grande. Letti comodissimi. C'è il distributore di acqua calda e fredda.
Outside looks like a heritage building, but inside of the room is a modern 3 star hotel. Super impressed!

Plain but spotlessly clean and perfectly comfortable rooms in a historic building. Good air-con, good beds. No food but there's water for tea and nothing is far in Taiping.
The location is right in town center, very near to all the eating places. Hotel building is almost 100 years old. The room quite spacious with 2 super single beds. Nice clean room.
I don't like the bathroom arrangement. the WC is a tight squeeze. They should try to rearrange the bathroom.

Do not underestimate Hotel Peking in Taiping. At first glance it looks simple but the stay exceeded every expectation. The rooms are spotless, well kept and far more comfortable than what the facade suggests. What impressed me most was the quiet restful atmosphere, something many newer hotels struggle to offer. The staff is
genuinely attentive without being intrusive and they carry a warmth that feels authentically Taiping. The location is incredibly convenient, surrounded by good food and just minutes from the main attractions. I almost did not want to rate it too highly because good places like this become hard to book once people find out. Still, credit must be given where it is due because the value here is exceptional. It is the kind of hotel that reminds you not to judge by appearances. All in, a stay that was quietly impressive and worth returning to.

The location is strategic, near lots of eating places and shops, including pharmacies.
The pillows were so hard like wood. I almost sprained my neck. Please change the pillow.

This hotel is quite old and the facilities are not well-maintained. There is only one power socket in the room, and it’s located high up, which is very inconvenient. There’s also no hair dryer provided — you have to request one from the front desk. The room has mosquitoes as well.
