Increíble y hermoso lugar

Best hotel experience!
Pros:

Our stay at El Portón was likely one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Due to flight delays we ended up arriving to the hotel much later in the evening than expected and they had no problem accommodating us for a later check in.

The owners and the staff were all so kind and attentive throughout our entire stay. We felt so taken care of and valued. The owners also gave us great suggestions for places to visit and dine at around town during our time in Tenancingo.

Our rooms were the perfect size for us and had everything we needed! They were so clean and were even cleaned daily as we were out on our adventures!

The location was perfect for my family and I as it was close to our relatives living in the area. We definitely felt safe and secure during our stay. We absolutely enjoyed our experience with this hotel and will definitely be staying here again next time we are in Tenancingo! We highly recommend the El Portón hotel!

A Home Away From Home
Pros:

Circe, Peter, Elida, Lourdes, and the rest of their amazing staff spared no expense going above-and-beyond to make sure that our stay was extraordinary. From the moment we arrived we were treated very warmly.

Though we should have given 24 hour notice for laundry service they accommodated us anyhow. The rooms, beds, and showers were comfortable with everything we needed. A fan was supplied upon request. Water was provided. Room service was attentive and prompt. A small breakfast with fruit, oatmeal, sandwiches, juice coffee, and tea were prepared for us every morning by Circe.

In addition to the aforementioned we can't say enough good things about Peter, who accompanied us to town, introduced us to some amazing people, and brought us to a quaint home cafe for an early dinner. He is very knowledgeable and has an excellent sense of humor.

We strongly recommend staying here when in Tenancingo. We'll be back and will miss them while gone.
