Everything. Is not as mention. Bad service. No water no cleaning

The unbearable heat of the room due to the lack of air conditioning. The location on an extremely noisy corner. The shower with the pressure of a dropper. All the others guess were saying the same thing.!!!!!! Don’t spend your money in this terrible place!!!!!!!

La habitación no contaba con suficiente ventilación (ventanas), y había mucho ruido del transito externo, cosa que puede llegar afectar la tranquilidad del sueño.

Cuando llegué, no había nadie para recibirme. La recepción es inexistente. Sólo una empleada medio grosera que estaba limpiando las recámaras, pero me ayudó sólo tras insistir. En la recámara, la lámpara del techo estaba suspendida por mecates, la ducha no tenía cabezal, el domo del baño estaba roto y había un hoyo del tamaño de una pelota atravesándolo. Afortunadamente no llovió durante mi estancia. El internet no llegaba a mi recámara. Reporté todo esto con el número de WhatsApp que estaba como contacto y me aseguraron que se iba a hacer algo al respecto. Durante las tres noches que estuve ahí, nada se solucionó. Cuando regresé a mi hogar, me percaté que había olvidado una pulsera. A pesar de que supuestamente la habían encontrado, primero me querían cobrar 300 pesos por enviarla, pero en cuanto accedí bajo la condición de que me mandaran el comprobante del envío, dejaron de responderme.

This is the second time I've stayed at Real Santo Domingo. The first time was in 2021 for a solo work trip, and this time was for a vacation with my partner and my mother. The quality of cleanliness and comfort has noticeably diminished over the last 4-5 years. Check-in was easy because someone happened to be in the interior patio when we arrived, but they no longer have a check-in desk which makes everything feel more like an adult hostel or "posada" than a bonafide hotel. I've been living in Mexico for over a decade and come to Oaxaca often so this wasn't really an issue for me, but my mother was a bit confused and uncomfortable with this situation, as it was her first time in Mexico. My biggest issues with the hotel are: The rooms are not cleaned, nor beds made, nor trash removal during the stay; the noise when people check in or leave early AM is very amplified by the interior patio; the rooftop is in desperate need of some sprucing up to enjoy it fully; they do not provide any toiletries other than hand soap; and the shower heads are horrible (at least in rooms 5 and 6). That all being said, this could be a great option for a young solo traveler on a budget. The location is really great and when we needed extra blankets the staff was very attentive.

Para empezar tienen unos ventanales de aluminio súper baratos Por lo cual todo el sonido de la calle entraba y no pudimos descansar, los cortineros no estaban a la medida de las ventanas y se veía todo en total no teníamos privacidad, los baños estaban asquerosos llenos de moho, el baño no tenía cancel la regadera toda llena de sarro y no salía el agua bien, y luego solicité la factura y se tardaron lo que quisieron, la mujer que me contestó súper vulgar, súper corriente, muy altanera y grosera, que yo no era la única persona esperando la factura, si ya tenía más de un día esperándola, en verdad no recomiendo en absoluto este lugar, estirar el dinero a la basura porque en verdad estábamos a nada de irnos a buscar otro lugar aunque ya estaba pagado
