Location is stunning, immersed in the jungle. Very peaceful overall and lush. The garden is beautiful. Bed was comfortable. Overall an ok experience but I wouldn’t book it again.
Very bumpy road to reach the place, our driver had to drive very slowly to avoid damaging the car which meant that it would take quite long to reach the hotel.
The bathroom was very basic and old (wobbly toilet and old shower). The shower itself is powered by a faulty heater and the temperature was barely lukewarm. No towels in the room, we had to go and ask for them. Overall it felt clean but the sheets had some stains on them.
I loved going to sleep and waking up to the sounds of the jungle. The swimming pool was an oasis after a day visiting Sigiriya and the temples.
The quality of the food in the restaurant didn’t match the price.

Lovely quiet area in the countryside. Room number 2 upstairs with balcony area was very spacious and comfortable. Very good food.. and generous portions. Nice pool.. small but in lovely setting. Hotel is cash only.
No fridge in the room but we did use the staff fridge. The road to the property is a bit tricky and slow going. Repairs are planned.

Hele mooie locatie met uitzicht over de rijstvelden. De kamer is erg comfortabel met een groot tweepersoonsbed. Vriendelijk personeel, maar kunnen weinig tot geen Engels.
De verwachtingen klopten niet door onwaarheden in de advertentie. De kamers zijn erg gehorig, dus niet geïsoleerd zoals in de advertentie staat vermeld. Er is een wifinetwerk, maar eigenlijk is er geen enkele plek waar het bereik sterk genoeg is. Er hangt een tv, maar die doet het niet. Het zwembad kan wel een schoonmaakbeurt gebruiken. Als je geen ei wil/lust is het ontbijt een beetje karig.

Nothing at all
It was a horrible stay
Couldn't sleep at night from insects and bugs inside the room
I also fin a frog jumping on my bags and beds at midnight
Kids were terrified
We left even before having breakfast
Es ist ein magischer Ort abseits des Tourismus mitten in der Natur mit Blick auf Reisfelder. Wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge. Das kleine Resort vermittelt wirkliches Dschungelfeeling.
Das Angebot des Restaurants ist überschaubar aber von guter Qualität. Etwa Zeit mitbringen, aber man ja zum entschleunigen da.
Super nice areal with very welcoming staff and host. The kids loved the pool. Situated right at the jungle with amazing animal sounds, not annoying.
Lovely garden with a lot of different plants. Our room even had an entire tree inside.

Exceptionnel quand on le met en lien en plus avec le tarif, c’est magnifique, la végétation, les singes au bord de la piscine, les oiseaux, les caméléons, lézards… les chambres sont confortables, le personne est vraiment compétent ( bien plus que n’importe où ailleurs). Le petit déjeuner est très copieux. Au restaurant, la carte est varié avec des plats sri lankais et internationaux, les tarifs sont très corrects et les portions importantes.

De kamers zijn beetje gehorig.
