Pros:

A real standout was the food; there was a great variety, and everything I tried was fantastic. The staff deserve a special mention as well. They were so welcoming and professional, making the stay all the more enjoyable. Specially the wifi was amazing, no issues with that. The rooms we were in had great sea side views, had TV etc...I honestly can't find a single fault with my stay. Everything was perfect, from the comfortable rooms to the great location. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. I loved every minute and would highly recommend it. A special thank you to the owner, whose kindness and personal attention really made the stay memorable. Highly recommended! We loved the bar, they made fantastic cocktails, and it was a great place to relax in the evening. We'll definitely be back for next year !

Great location. Pool was good. Breakfast staff friendly.
Pros:

Kids loved the pool.
Hotel is directly on the beach with a beach bar and shaded/ unshaded sunbeds available. Also ideally situated for restaurants.
Comfortable beds and good shower.
Staff serving breakfast were very friendly and kind.

Cons:

Manhole cover by the pool was loose and could have caused an injury.
Smell of mould in Bathroom in room.
Beach sellers hassling for sales whilst on the sunbeds.
Would have been helpful to have a small brush in hotel room to sweep up sand and a wiper in the shower as it would have helped us keep the room clean.

Pros:

Location couldn’t be better, right in town and close walk to Main Point. The check in process was really easy, and the rooms were surprisingly quiet given the proximity to bars and the beach. Phenomenal place. Selvi was really kind and helpful.

Great stay in Arugam Bay
Pros:

I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere at The Bay. The location in Arugam Bay was great for getting to the beach, cafés and surf spots. The place felt clean and well kept, and the pool area was a nice bonus for cooling off after being out in the sun. The staff were friendly and made everything easy during the stay.

Pros:

Location was great,the room and the bathroom are very clean and neat.and I try food in restaurant the food was amazing the beach side view is masmerizing

Well. The room was tiny, bathroom was mouldy. Terrible wifi. Bar staff partied in one of the rooms below us which only started at 1230am… we ended up packing up and leaving after 1 night! The day staff were friendly. Just very disappointing.

Completely ruined my vacation staying here: so staff was rude. Extremely unclean/unhygienic
After being allocated a room I was told after an hour wrong room. And move upstairs or pay extra. Hauled out items again a flight of stairs and decided okay let me sit - guess what: BED BUGS!! (See attached pic) freaked out so went to take shower (dirty bathroom - no hot water) then I said fine just 2 days and we are on the beach anyway so okay let’s go to the pool - tiny and dirty. Like chlorinated man!! The. Said okay let’s tan and scroll - NO WIFI AND NO TV! Was told it’s off season - like what!!! The staff was like well if u don’t like it leave - No refunds - pls avoid this place like the plague

Pros:

Is by the main street, staff is accommodating and friendly. Was told i have to upgrade my room to use hairdryer which seems a little weird but nevertheless she gave me a room with hairdryer which is good.

Cons:

The place didn’t seem ready for guests — the toilet valve was shut off and the shower doesn’t drain properly.
