Nice hotel, but didn't like the management and being kicked out right at 12h00
Pros:

The staff was very polite and the location is close to the main area without being noisy. The bed was really comfortable and the facilities were very pretty and clean. Welcome cocktail when you get there although I didn't try it

Cons:

Although overall the treatment was nice I didn't like that I was pushed to leave the hotel right at 12h00 despite being the only guest in the hotel. It wasn't 12h when I started getting calls to leave or pay 300 pesos extra and at 12h03 I got another call saying my time was up. I asked for an extra 15 minutes to be able to take a quick shower and I was told no. This is a first time in a booking hotel as I usually don't have a problem taking a few minutes more to check out. There were no other guests in the hotel that I could see.

Also hot water did not work greatly: when I got there it was not working and after a while it wasn't very hot. This is usually not a problem in Mexico but San Cristobal can be cold in the evenings so not so nice

My overall impression is that management pushes employees to follow some inflexible guidelines like checkout times or pushing for selling spa packages.

Although the hotel is nice, there are many more nicer, cheaper and friendlier places in San Cristobal. I would advice other travellers to look for different hotels or just go to this one for your first day and then look for another hotel once settled down and see other options.

Pros:

This is a fabulous boutique. It is very very pink and beautiful. The rooms all have a unique design and layout and ours was great. The water is very hot in the shower and heat is provided as San Cristóbal de San be cold at night. The breakfast was fantastic and I liked that they have many options. The staff was great and gave us everything we needed. One thing I noticed was the Internet was a bit slow and had trouble connecting at times, but it could have been because of the weather. Overall I recommend anyone looking for a quiet nights sleep and a great boutique to stay here.
