Schickes Hotel mit toller Gastro
Pros:

Für die Lage (im Sinne von: liegt nicht direkt im hochtouristischen Gebiet) erstaunlich hübsches und modernes Hotel, sehr gut eingerichtet und wirklich bequem, man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Super auch die Gatronomie im gleichen Haus, sehr leckere mexikanische Spezialitäten sowohl zum Abendessen als auch zum Frühstück. Wir waren äußerst positiv überrascht. Auf jeden Fall eine gute Alternative zum größeren Villahermosa, wenn man noch etwas weiter richtig Westen/Norden fahren möchte.

Cons:

Aufgrund der Stadtlage ist es nachts nicht mucksmäuschenstill, also geräuschempfindliche Schläfer könnte das stören, für uns war es voll in Ordnung.

We only had lukewarm water for showering, for my boyfriend no problem. I personally like my water hot

Pros:

We paid a bit extra for a room with a king bed. The room was large and the bed very comfortable. Staff was super helpful in getting us moved from our original room to another one. Our bigger room had a little couch. Loved the design elements in the room...and the desk to work at. Inside the hotel was quiet. We enjoyed the recommended restaurant that was 2-3 blocks away. Staff got up early to take us to the locked compound for the car...half a block away. Nice to know the car was safe. Location is a few blocks from the highway for easy arrival and departure (no hwy noise reached the hotel). Would stay here again when passing through.

Cons:

This room is great for an overnight stay. Basically a bed and shower. No coffee machine, no mini fridge...small selection of cold drinks in cooler downstairs and OXXO a block away. We both had showers, one in the evening and one in the morning. There was hot water for maybe a minute, then it went to cool, then only slightly warm. The neighbourhood was noisy (for us). We kept our windows closed...typical for the country.
