Quiet and lovely place, out of this world to disconnect, with very nice people
Pros:

the staff was very kind and helpful , the place was very quiet and good for relaxing with a nice beach and lovely see in front of the hotel, the room was clean, we had a good wifi connection, it was a lovely experience for a couple of days. The food was simple but good except for the lack of seafood.

Cons:

we were a bit disappointed not to have more seafood (Crabs, Gambas etc..), apparently it was not the season for crab, (but we got one night, crayfish that we asked for with a supplement that we had to pay and which is normal). Even for the fish that we had that was very basic fish.
Otherwise the food was good and well presented.
The beach towel could need replacement.

Quaint getaway with outrageously beautiful scenery
Pros:

The lodge is simply gorgeous. Private beach, rustic but well decorated room/tents and just overall beautiful scenery.

Cons:

There's nothing to not like about this place. It's a piece of paradise. Would provide some advice on the food. It could be better. Certain meals were good and others were just average. Consistency is the key

Excellent. Only nice words for the place and its people
Pros:

The breakfast was great. In general, the food is good, so much quality, the chef Jovani, is the best.
It is a heavenly place.

Ultimate secluded beach holiday
Pros:

The location was simply amazing - beautiful and quiet. The accommodation was thoughtful and spacious. The staff were friendly and most of the food was good.

Cons:

Some of the food was ordinary ( although many of the meals were very good). Wine selection could be better.

Eden Lodge: A Natural Paradise with Lackluster Management and Steep Excursion Prices
Pros:

Eden Lodge, aptly named, is destined to be a slice of paradise on the stunning shores of the Ampasindava Peninsula. The setting is indeed magical, secluded from everything, nestled between a pristine beach and a lush botanical garden backed by a wild forest. The rich marine life includes turtles grazing on seagrass right in front of the lodge and a nearby reef for quick snorkeling sessions. We had the rare privilege of witnessing the nesting of a green turtle on the beach one night. On land, the presence of various lemurs, birds, lizards and more is quite astonishing to and greatly enhances the natural allure. Heaven for nature-lovers. The nocturnal walks, included in the free of charge activities, is the stand-out occasion to witness this - a must-do. Our guide, Sata, led us on two such walks during our 4-night stay, where we even discovered for the first time together a third type of lemur on-site, the Nosy Be Sportive Lemur, alongside the Black Lemur and Sambirano Fork-marked Lemur. Other free of charge activités in and around the lodge are available. I recommend to to a maximum of these to best discover the pristine nature around. Sleeping to the sounds of waves and the calls of the Sambirano Fork-marked Lemur will be sorely missed.

Additionally, the food here was excellent even if expensive compared to mainland, though it might be better to include more than one vegetarian meal option per day. Also, the main reception area felt a bit stark and could be better decorated to add more warmth to the lodge. Details here :)

Cons:

However, paradise it wasn’t entirely. Our experience was tinged with disappointment and frustrations due to two main factors. Firstly, the interactions with the lodge manager lacked warmth and felt somewhat forced, detracting from the otherwise welcoming atmosphere created by the rest of the staff. He seemed disinterested not only in the guests but also in the stunning natural surroundings, the local culture, and the unique wildlife. This detachment resulted in interactions that were rare and felt somewhat awkward, significantly diminishing the overall experience. In such a remote and beautiful setting, the presence of an engaging manager is essential. The absence of this warmth significantly impacted our overall experience, underscoring that the essence of hospitality extends beyond just the location - it’s also about the people who bring it to life. Secondly, the non-included excursion pricing was a letdown. After spending two weeks in mainland Madagascar, the cost of the non-included activities at Eden Lodge seemed excessively high. For example, the price for the Nosy Iranja excursion was significantly higher (2-3x) from Nosy Be and even excluded drinks, limiting our ability to fully engage with what the area has to offer.

Despite these drawbacks, the natural environment and the warmth of most of the staff made our stay memorable. For those considering Eden Lodge, I would recommend a shorter stay here and perhaps a few extra nights on Nosy Be beforehand to enjoy more reasonably priced offsite excursions and activities. We did this for scuba diving but with retrospect would have also liked to extend it to do the overpriced Nosy Iranja excursion from Nosy Be rather than Eden Lodge. This could allow for a more balanced and fulfilling experience without the stark price disparities.

Peaceful paradise
Pros:

The peace and tranquility, being directly on the beach, and the helpful staff

Cons:

I didn't get to try the excursions as I was only one person. But that wasn't the fault of the resort.

This is really paradise!
Pros:

This is really paradise! From the first to the last minute everything was just fantastic:
- transfer to Eden Lodge from Nosy Be Airport - and back - by car and boat well organised
- a personal warm welcome from the manager
- extremely friendly and caring staff
- delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a wonderful open air restaurant
- a spacious apartment, build - like the whole lodge - with an eco-friendly approach, fitting perfectly into the surrounding
- a wonderful beach, where you can swim and snorkle with turtles
- options for excurcions with an experienced and thoughtful guide who speakes several languagues fluently
- and besides all that the lodge supports the local village and its school children.
We can highly recommend a stay at Eden Lodge.

Simply HEAVEN
Pros:

Everything - Good, location, staff (in alphabetical order). It was a real pleasure to stay there and we would certainly do it again.

Cons:

It is not really anything not to like. Maybe for those wondering - location is 30min boat drive from Nosy Be and no, there is really nothing around. So what you buy in the hotel, including food and beverages, this is what you get.

For a 5star resort maybe we would recommend improving a bit the wine list as the super great food could be paired a bit better.

All was exceptional. Would love to come back.
Pros:

I stayed at the lodge for one week. It was an exceptional and extremely pleasant stay - staff would try to fulfill any wish you might have. As a single woman I appreciated the safety at the place even though tents are unlocked. You are in the middle of nature and can observe wildlife in the camp. I also appreciated the concept of ecotourism.
