Het was een grote kamer, lekker bed, lekkere douche.
Fijn dat er thee en koffie was maar roerstaafjes zou wel handig zijn.

Pros:

Prima rustig gelegen klein hotel (en druk restaurant). Fietsen konden binnen worden geplaatst. Ruime kamers, goed ontbijt.

Het restaurant was erg druk waardoor het wat lang duurde.

Pros:

We werden gastvrij ontvangen, toen we onze tassen alvast wilden afleveren, alvorens we aan onze 34 km lange hardlooptrail over de Utrechtse Heuvelrug begonnen. De kamer konden we zelfs rond 12 uur al in! De kamer was schoon en ruim. 's Avonds konden we aanschuiven voor een prima diner met plaatselijke biertjes. Het ontbijt de volgende ochtend was goed verzorgd, met de zelfgemaakte smoothie als hoogtepunt. Wat ook genoemd mag worden: de interesse en tijd voor gesprek tijdens het in- en uitchecken. We kunnen iedereen dit hotel aanraden!

Personeel deed ongelofelijk hun best maar hadden het merkbaar net iets tè druk; een bij binnenkomst toegezegd tafeltje om wat te eten bleek na te zijn opgefrist even vergeten…

In Amerongen kies je voor Buitenlust!
Pros:

Het was voor mij een terugkeer naar een wandelbestemming van vroeger, die regelmatig eindigde in de oude gelagkamer. Nu heb ik er voor het eerst ook overnacht. Hele leuke kamer, nummer 1, goede douche, goed bed, fijn bureautje. Prima ontbijt.

Cons:

Jammer dat alles zo vroeg dicht is.
