Atención impecable y ubicación ideal
Pros:

La ubicación es excelente, muy cerca de la terminal, lo que hizo todo muy fácil. El personal fue increíblemente atento: a pesar de haber reservado más días, tuve que cancelar por motivos personales de fuerza mayor, tuve que acortar mi estadía. A pesar de eso, el personal fue extremadamente comprensivo y amable. Me gestionaron el reembolso, lo cual agradezco muchísimo. La amabilidad y el trato hicieron la diferencia

Basic but clean central hotel
Pros:

Great location near 5th avenue and 8 min walk. ado touristic bus terminal
Staff friendly and helpful
Comfortable bed and room
24hr reception
Cheap restaurants around the corner
Good value

Cons:

Being close to the nightlife area it was a bit noisy at night but ok
Bathroom was OK If old, only warmish water in shower.
Be nice to have somewhere to dry your clothes on the roof

Pros:

Very large bed (that was not sweaty) and room. Place has older interior.

Cons:

Not all rooms have balconies. View from balconies is not very nice.
You could hear the sound of a nearby disco, but it was not to disturbing.

Nice large rooms, horrible smell in bathrooms.
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, the rooms are very large, nice big beds, flat screen tv, fridge and ac. The problem with this place is the smell that comes from the bathroom after you use the shower or toilet or sink, a horrid smell kicks up and fills the whole room. One night it woke me up!! I think a plumber is needed to sort this out. The staff are ok, they do there job, although every time we wanted a shower I had to go downstairs to reception to ask them to turn the boiler on so the water was warm. It's an ok place, potential to be a lot better.

Very charming and clean place
Pros:

We stayed five nights at the new and bright Atlantida hotel over the Christmas holidays. Our room was large and bright and very clean. We had a huge king bed and a double bed and also a small refrigerator and "convenience kitchen." Our room had a large balcony that faced avenida 15 and it was nice to sit out there and watch all the happenings of city life in Playa del Carmen going on. We found the property to be a good value for the money and the location was excellent- a short walk to the beach and restaurants but had more of a local feel as it is located in town not right on the beach. The room was kept very clean and had huge windows you could open during the day to get a nice cross breeze going in the room. We noticed a small pool in the courtyard of the property but it was not filled when we stayed there.
