Beautiful beach front stay
Pros:

It is a beautiful hotel and the grounds are very comfortable. Literally beachfront. The staff are very polite, always smiling, attentive. You get a sense they're a real team who enjoy working there.

The food is fantastic and I'm not someone who is 'a foodie'. I eat to live rather than live to eat but the food here was wonderful

The owner/chef also had a conversation with me as I was checking out, he is very approachable and you can tell he really cares about his business and his guest experience.

Cons:

At a push...
- I asked for room service and the waitress said they don't do it (despite a laminated advert for room service in my room). Not a big deal, the restaurant is a few yards from the rooms.
- no WiFi in the rooms but again, it's not really a hardship to sit beachfront whilst checking messages!
- water pressure was so so but that's being very picky. I guess if people are expecting the standards of Europe or the US this might be an issue but showering is still perfectly fine and not really an issue

Pros:

Professionally run hotel resort with great staff right on the beach. Great food and rooms. Enjoyed my stay and wish I'd stayed longer

Cons:

The beach has many very persistent vendors that are like a rash that won't ho away. This does not by anyway affect the relaxed feeling of the hotel itself. The hotel grounds are secure .

Paysage maginifique Ambiance apaisante,, dépaysement assuré.
Pros:

Cadre très sympathique et apaisant. Personnel accueillant et chaleureux.Bon rapport qualité prix pour le restaurant.

Cons:

Rien à voir avec l'hôtel mais on ne peut pas se promener tranquille sur la plage, ,souvent interpellé par les locaux pour des massages ou acheter des souvenirs.

Pros:

The location is ideal, right at the beach. The rooms were nice and the bed was comfortable. Clean environment and friendly staff.

Cons:

The facility seems a bit outdated. No hot water from the sink. Shower ok.

—> im Nachhinein hätten wir uns für die Vovo Telo Lodge einige Häuser weiter entschieden

- sehr freundliches Personal
- sehr schöne Sonnenuntergänge
- gepflegte und schöne Anlage
- diverse Aktivitäten im Hotel buchbar
- Frühstück durchschnittlich, sonstiges Essen sehr lecker (Zebu Filet mit Sauce, Shrimp Tempura, Mousse au Chocolat sehr zu empfehlen)

Cons:

- Fahrt vom Hotel bis ins andere Hotel 180,000 (bei Fahrer direkt 110 000) Ariary
- Zimmer karg und knapp eingerichtet
- Meer nicht speziell schön
- sehr aufdringliche Strandverkäufer, wütend, wenn nichts gekauft wird
- Pool hinten im Garten, nicht am Strand
- NIE während Ostern kommen. Dafür kann das Hotel nichts, es war jedoch voller Leute und der Strand sowie die Anlage war für Touris kaum brauchbar
- für den hohen Preis eigentlich nicht im Verhältnis

Best team
Pros:

This team is the best! The attention, the spirit and energy and how they are supporting each other and joking :-) it's just great to watch and the best service! The rooms are very clean and everything is very well decorated. The beds are comfy and the food is great. I doubt you can find anything better at Ifaty.

Cons:

There are many vendors at the beach, they are respecting the hotel's space, but they will come to you, when you go swimming.
