A peaceful colonial space with interior patio where you can relax.
Pros:

This is an amazing colonial house with plants and nice art--very comfortable and peaceful. The staff were all nice and helpful, the cafe was great to have coffee and bread in the morning--delicious pastries. The cleaning staff did a lovely job each day in the room and kept the whole hotel spotless--I would stay here again any day!

Cons:

The room smelled very humid and a little mildewy but I know this is due to the age of the place.

Lindo hotel con algunos detalles a mejorar
Pros:

Las instalaciones son muy bonitas. Es como una casona antigua y esta cerca de todos los puntos de interés.

Cons:

Las camas son algo viejas. Los colchones estan algo vencidos, es necesario cambiarlos. La iluminación del cuarto es baja, adicional a que no se le da mantenimiento a la alberca, el agua estaba sucia.

They should not advertise breakfast included ! Coffee is NOT breakfast.

The property is close to center of plaza

Cons:

The mattress was hard as rock.
We paid for breakfast included and were told it was coffee and a piece of bread. The restaurant had breakfast but was extra ??? How can a hotel promote paying extra for breakfast included and then charge you extra for breakfast? We walk across the street and had a better breakfast with gourmet coffee for half the price.

El edificio es preciosos y rehabilitado con mucho gusto

Cons:

Que le falta muuuuuucho mantenimiento. Las habitaciones en planta baja son inhabitables. El na humedad horrorosa y un olor espantoso. Yo diría que son hasta insalubres

Very satisfied in a class place.
Pros:

The room, Lisboa was perfect for us. We have tentative reservations for that room over Navidad.
Very impressive old property, with a ton of history.
The artwork told stories.

Cons:

We had a car, so each time returning to the posada was a challenge to find a parking spot on the street.
No big deal.

Awesome place- very unique property and decor- really fits with the colonial vibe of the town.
Pros:

This is a beautiful colonial style hotel in the heart of Coatepec. What is remarkable is the property is very large and very green, there are lovely gardens, a pool and open air areas. The hotel is full of beautiful antiques and art which makes it feel like going back in time, and was a unique experience. The water pressure is very strong and hot in the shower, the rooms are large and comfortable. The staff is professional and they have a small pool! All in all a great place, and a great value.

Cons:

The included breakfast is continental- sweet breads, coffee and juice.

We loved the hotel and restaurant, but did not like the room we slept in.

The Hotel is beautiful.

Cons:

The room smelled musty and there was a dead cockroach in the bathroom, and a dead lizard in the upstairs loft. The bedding is very old, like from the 1970s, it really needs an update, the bathroom was dirty and in need of a major update. The glass shower doors had very bad limescale and the sink was very old and rotting. Also, when we arrived, they said the parking was closed so we had to park on the street, which I worried about. The couches were very dusty, in need of a good cleaning. The ceilings also were dusty and needed a good clean. The restaurant staff were great, and the food was good.

A perfect tranquil get away to a Posada with great ambiance.
Pros:

It was a wonderful experience. Tranquil, great daytime staff. The room was perfect for me with great shower, comfortable bed, stable internet and just what I needed for a quick one night get away.

Everything was excellent!
