Great hotelito only 5 mins from beach
Pros:

I always like staying at this small, quiet hotel tucked away from the busy malecon. And it's only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Always friendly recepetion with a smile. Gracias.

Clean but spartan room
Pros:

Very clean room. Friendly staff at check-in. Location was convenient to the immigration office and short 10 minute walk to tourist areas along beach. Staff was also cooperative when I checked out a day early.

Cons:

Room was insecure - no deadbolt or door latch. Access to the room is along an alley running along the side of the building. It has been decorated to look nicer but it's an alley. The only window in the room looks out to this alley. No blanket or cover for bed - only fitted sheet and bed sheet available. Bed was very hard. No Wi-Fi was available or pass code offered at check-in. TV did not work. No luggage rack.

It was a guy trip and was good for a place to sleep and bathe.
Pros:

Good location, very nice staff, room was clean, plenty of hot water

Cons:

only 2 of 3 electrical outlets worked, lots of small bugs in the room (NOT bedbugs), no on-site ice available, no coffee in the room or in the lobby, on street parking only
