Eén met de natuur, heerlijke keuken, vriendelijke eigenaar!
Pros:

Wat een paradijs! We verbleven in een supercoole open kamer met zicht op zee. Je bent hier volop onderdeel van de natuur en hoort de zee ruisen. De eigenaar is enorm vriendelijk en dacht goed mee met onze wensen. We kregen elke dag een cocktail van het huis. In de omgeving zijn genoeg plekjes om te eten, maar we hebben elke dag bij de Alpha Monkey gegeten want de kaart is uitgebreid, het eten heerlijk en de locatie perfect. Het strand bij deze locatie is breed en rustig, her en der liggen wat rotsen in zee maar er zijn ook hele fijne plekken om te zwemmen. De Ayurveda-massage die we hebben geboekt was geweldig. Ook een aanrader: kayakken in de lagune tegen zonsondergang. De Alpha Monkey komt absoluut op ons lijstje van favoriete plekken aan de kust!

Pros:

Unser Aufenthalt mit der Familie war wunderbar. Die paar Häuser liegen an einem sehr paradiesischen Strand, der sich allerdings nur bedingt zum baden eignet, da es teilweise Felsen im Wasser hat. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und sie sorgen sich sehr um den Ort und die gesamte Anlage. Das srilankesische Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Die einfache aber sehr funktionale Einrichtung vom Haus hat uns besonders gefallen.
Ein sehr guter Ort um zur Ruhe zu kommen.

Perfect accommodation for those who want to be in contact with nature. No front wall with a direct view of the beach and ocean. Visits by squirrels and other animals possible 😁. Friendly, kind owner. A saltwater pool with a diving board and a deep center, ideal for children's enjoyment, perfectly complements the beach, which is beautiful, but not safe for swimming. It is about a 10-minute walk to the bathing place at the breakwater. The friendly staff still maintain a nice environment in the area. A great choice for us, the nicest accommodation in SL.

Sehr schmutzig, viele kakalaken und andere Tiere im Zimmer , großer Frosch wohnt in der Kloschuessel, schmutzige Vorhänge, rudimentäre Ausstattung !

Einmal und nie wieder!

Ehrlich gesagt nur die tolle Lage direkt am Meer.

Cons:

Ich bin absolut enttäuscht von diesem Hotel. Schon bei der Ankunft begann der Ärger, da ich nicht einmal das Zimmer bekommen habe, das ich ursprünglich gebucht hatte.

Der Zustand des Zimmers war schlichtweg unzumutbar: Es gab außer einem schmutzigen Tisch und einem extrem dreckigen, fleckigen Bett praktisch keine Ausstattung. Die Vorhänge waren voller widerlicher Flecken, und die Handtücher sahen genauso schlimm aus – stark verschmutzt und unappetitlich.

Das Schlimmste war jedoch, dass es im Zimmer und Bad nur so von Kakerlaken wimmelte. Unter diesen Umständen war ein Aufenthalt absolut unmöglich.

Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt daher sofort vor Ort storniert und mir eine andere Unterkunft gesucht. Dieses Hotel kann ich auf keinen Fall weiterempfehlen.

Es war mein Traum in einem Bungalow direkt am Strand zu übernachten und den habe ich mir hier erfüllt. Großartige Lage, besonders für lange Strandspaziergänge und Menschen, die Natur lieben! Den Pool und direkten Strandzugang mit Restaurant und Liegen fand ich super.

Cons:

Die Ausstattung ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und sehr dürftig… kein Regal/ Kommode/Schrank, wirklich nur ein Bett und ein kleiner Tisch. Es wirkt nicht so sauber, weil alles sehr alt ist, aber für ein echtes Naturerlebnis war es ausreichend. Man muss wissen, dass die rauschenden Wellen in der Nacht sehr laut sind.

A little aged, the whole cabana complex is situated directly at the beach - a dream location if you like sand, nature and relaxed staff.
There are several restaurants in walking distance and an endless beach to take walks. There even is a nice swimmingpool in the complex to enjoy some swimming.

L'emplacement, excentré, au calme, les pieds dans l'eau.
Le côté cabane dans les arbres
Lever de soleil magnifique.
La chambre ouverte sur l'extérieur, sur l'océan, c'est juste sublime.
Le lit immense et confortable.
C'est un coin de Paradis.

Cons:

Le manque d'étagères et de porte-manteaux. Mais c'est partout pareil au Sri-Lanka.

L’emplacement de dingue et personnel très agréable et conciliant.

Cons:

Le côté peut-être un peu trop mode crusoe. L’hygiène tout est ouvert les fourmis, pas de fenêtre.

Übernachten direkt am Strand
Pros:

Wir hatten das Zimmer mit Meerblick, das unmittelbar am Strand lag. Besonders hat uns die idyllische Lage sowie der Pool gefallen, der besonders praktisch aufgrund der starken Strömungen im Meer war. Am Strand stehen Liegen zur Verfügung.

Séjour sympathique à l’alpha monkey.
Pros:

Superbe emplacement direct sur la plage. Personnel très sympathique. Excellent petit déjeuner et repas Sri Lankais proposés.

Cons:

Nous avons réservé au dernier moment. Il ne restait que la chambre économique. Très basique, peu équipée. Si vous n’avez pas l’esprit « Robinson », évitez… Le bruit de la mer est très présent la nuit, ça a son charme, mais en cas de sommeil léger, prévoir des bouchons d’oreille.
