Excellent location for a nearly deserted hotel.
Pros:

While there was no restaurant service or even coffee available in the hotel on days one and two, several groups arrived in the afternoon of our second day and as a result we had breakfast the day of check out. Staff at breakfast were very nice. The lobby and public areas are picturesque and charming but there is no sense of welcoming hospitality. Location was excellent.

Cons:

The hotel reception was not welcoming at all. The woman didn’t even get up from the desk, just had a clueless young girl check us in and show us to our room. No explanation on anything, no help struggling up the stairs with our heavy bags, no lesson on the tv which never worked. Internet was spotty, slow and sometimes not functioning. The room was okay but in need of tlc: broken floor tiles, hole in the ceiling with wires exposed, broken toilet roll holder, bizarre light fixtures that made no sense. The fact that the restaurant and bar are closed if there are no in-house groups could be a problem for some. This was not explained until we asked where we could get breakfast the next day. And even then, it was off handed. The second night there was a group of young men playing loud music and yelling at the pool from 11 pm until probably 2 am. Looked like a sports team: no chaperone or hotel employee stepped in so we had to in order to sleep. No phones in the room to call the front desk and if there were, no one manning the desk.

Beautiful facility, don’t stay in room 2.
Pros:

Beautiful hotel with colorful and open courtyard, fountains and good restaurant. Conveniently located by the river Malecón, plaza, church and fort. Breakfast was not included but tasty and good value.

Cons:

We stayed in room 2 which had no natural light, hard mattress and pillow. It took 10 minutes to get hot water for a shower at 6 pm on an 85 degree day.

La habitacion no tenia luz y despues de un rato fueron a arreglarla pero se volvio a ir y nos dimos cuenta que se desconectaba de atras de la cama porque estaban los cables cortos

Hotel bonito y céntrico... pero sin agua caliente para bañarse

La ubicación es perfecta para disfrutar del entorno y del evento al cual asistimos. La cama es confortable

Cons:

No me gustó que mi habitación era oscura con poca luz natural, el no tener estacionamiento es un punto en contra, pero había suficiente lugar en la calle. un muy mal punto es que no contamos con agua caliente en los dos días que nos hospedamos, ni una gota de agua caliente y es muy incómodo.

Wish I could have stayed longer. Plan to go back.
Pros:

Location was perfect. Nice ambience. Good breakfast. Quiet at night.

Cons:

A table on the roof would have been nice with a couple chairs. The view was great.

El lugar está súper bonito, la ubicación está perfecta, qué tengas tu propia llave para entrar y salir está súper cool, mi amiga y yo quedamos encantadísimas con todo, 100% recomendado
