Truly impeccible. We loved our stay. Marco is a kind soul who clearly takes care of his accommodation like a sanctuary.
The bedroom was spacious, had character, and everything we needed. Comfy giant bed. Beautiful patio. Walking to the room you go through all sorts of plants and trees, they take care of the garden so very well. Really a gem in the area. The photos do not do it justice! We cannot wait to come again, we will be back!

Un petit paradis entretenu avec amour par Marco et sa compagne. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables, les espaces communs toujours propres et propices à la détente, le jardin magnifique ... un endroit hors du temps, magique !

We loved our stay at Posada Olivo. We especially enjoyed the cool shade of the gardens, chatting with the hosts and other guests in the shared outdoor kitchen, and the various seating areas outside. The bed in our room was extremely comfortable and between the window screens, the cross breeze and the ceiling fan we were always cool despite the heat outside.
Posada Olivo is in a great location, right in between San Agustinillo and Mazunte. We love the beach in San Agustinillo and the food in Mazunte so we had the best of both worlds. Despite being only 30 metres up from a busy road this place is very quiet!

Emplacement idéal!

La beauté des lieux, du jardin luxuriant jusqu’aux matériaux de construction. Le café préparé par les hôtes le matin. Les animaux domestiques et les iguanes. La corde à linge et l’évier servant à laver le linge. La proximité de la Playa Bebé. Tout est très bien pensé pour un séjour confortable. Marco et Roberta sont très sympathiques.

Ho viaggiato abbastanza nella vita ma un luogo come Posada Olivo è difficile da trovare. La posada è incredibilmente bella, pulita, curata in ogni particolare, accogliente e allo stesso tempo ha privacy e spazi ampi e ariosi. Roberta e Marco si dedicano all’ospitalità e alla cura di tutto con passione e generosità rare. Un luogo paradisiaco gestito da persone speciali.

De plek, vlak bij het strand maar volledig verscholen tussen prachtige planten en bomen. Het ligt op een rustige plek niet aan een doorgaande weg dus heerlijk rustig. Onze kamer was van alle gemakken voorzien en volledig insecten vrij. De gezamenlijke keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien en er zijn verschillende gezellige (schaduw) zit plekjes om te eten, te lezen of een spelletje te doen. In de ochtend staat er een pot lekkere koffie klaar en in de koelkast staat altijd koud water om te pakken. Wij zijn hier 5 nachten geweest en vonden het geweldig!

A mini paradise in the middle of San Augustinillo

Beautiful grounds. Marco is very helpful with orienting us and giving us lots of helpful tips. There is a communal kitchen that we used all the time. There are a few amazing lounges. It is quiet and peaceful.

Most beautiful hotel I’ve stayed at. It’s like paradise. Coffee in the morning, host is very helpful, kitchen better equipped than most Airbnb’s out there, loved it!

The owners turned the property on a hillside into wonderful gardens full of trees and all manner of exotic plants with great attention to detail, and with the paths and our own terrace, all felt so private, as if we were the only ones there. It was a short walk to the beach and the owner’s recommendation for a restaurant there was right on. The owners were easy, helpful and available but very respectful of our space as we shared the gardens. We also enjoyed our cabańa, which was originally built by them and for them. Though most of the living space was open to the outdoors, all was so clean. Marco, the owner was amazing in every way, even helping me get my bag back after forgetting it in a taxi after travelling to the bus station in Pochutla half an hour out of Mazunte!

Die Unterkunft war paradiesisch, die Besitzer:innen sind wahre Künstler:innen in der Schaffung eines so wunderschönen und komfortablen Ortes. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail wurde eine Oase geschaffen, in der man gerne verweilen möchte. Die Umgebung und der Ort gemeinsam schaffen die perfekte Idylle zum erkunden und genießen. Danke für die so schöne und authentische Erfahrung!

Beautiful lush garden, sparkling clean, an excellent location between mazunte and San augustinullo. The private balcony and hammock was lovely, we enjoyed the privacy throughout. Romantic lighting. There were outlets and lights by both sides of the bed, always a nice touch. Wi-Fi is good enough for remote working, and reliable too.

Marco and his partner were so helpful and unobtrusive throughout. Their dogs and cat are so cute too.

Beautiful lush grounds, great communal kitchen and spaces, wonderful hosts. We were having trouble adjusting to the heat and humidity, Marco brought us an extra fan that helped hugely!

Me sentí muy bien recibida, Marco estuvo siempre en contacto por si algo necesitábamos y él y su pareja fueron siempre amables y atentos. Sus perritos son adorables y tranquilos. Nosotros nos quedamos en la cabaña y me gustó que la parte que es como un patiecito se siente fresca a pesar de que pueda hacer mucho sol. El jardín es hermoso y tuvimos la oportunidad de ver algunos animales libres, como tlacuaches, ranas, geckos e iguanas negras, además de oír distintos tipos de aves cantar. La playa está super cerca, es posible ir a pie y llegar en más o menos 5 minutos. También pudimos ir Punta Cometa para observar el atardecer, y a Ventanilla para visitar el manglar, ver cocodrilos y aves, además de liberar tortugas bebés. Llegamos en más o menos 10 minutos en taxi, aunque también es posible llegar en unas camionetas que se usan como transporte colectivo y pasan muy cerca de este alojamiento. Cobran más o menos 15 pesos por persona. Cuando necesitamos taxi, Marco fue muy amable y nos apoyó para llamarlo o reservarlo. Muchas gracias por todo!

Roberta and Marco are great hosts. The place they have is amazing and I would highly recomend it to everybody to vistit here. Amazing rooms, great garden and love the dogs. Will be back soon!! Thanks for an amazing stay it felt like home

The property is a mini paradise away from the main strip, yet still so close to everything. Best beach in the area is right down the road. It’s a real labour of love with all the effort to keep the property so green and beautiful.

Rooms are clean and tidy and the kitchen is SO CLEAN. Was pleasantly surprised with the upkeep they send of the place everyday.

Awesome hosts that tended to our needs. Highly recommend this property to anyone.
