Pros:

This unique place is perfect for every romantic soul. Of you want something special - try it!!! This sensitively restored French defensive tower from 1935 completely enchanted our family. In the morning, you can watch the sun rise over the surrounding hills from your hotel room, and in the evening enjoy a beautiful sunset over dinner, with Moroccan cuisine given a subtle French touch.

The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the French owner personally comes by to make sure that everything is all right (prepare your french :) ). The hotel has wonderful heated (!!!) and clear swimming pools, which our children especially loved — they hardly wanted to go anywhere else.

The rooms are stylishly furnished in keeping with the historic character of the fortress, while still being very comfortable, including wonderfully comfortable pillows and duvets. The entire property has a peaceful, almost spa-like atmosphere.

This place has a truly special spirit and “genius loci”. For us, it is one of the hidden gems of Morocco. We left with heavy hearts and will remember our stay here for a very long time.

Un séjour coup de cœur, chaleureux et exceptionnel, que nous avons même prolongé avec bonheur.
Pros:

Tout était exceptionnel. Nous avions initialement prévu de rester deux nuits et nous avons finalement prolongé notre séjour tellement nous nous y sentions bien. L’hôtel est plein de charme, la chambre était parfaite, très confortable, décorée avec goût et vraiment agréable.
Le service a été remarquable du début à la fin : accueil chaleureux, équipe disponible, attentionnée et de très bon conseil. On se sent presque comme à la maison, mais avec tout le confort et la qualité de service d’un bel hôtel. Une vraie parenthèse de calme et de douceur à Mirleft.

Hotel hors du commun qui vaut le détour !
Pros:

L hôtel est un ancien fort militaire français. On y sens encore toute l’histoire de ce lieu. La piscine est magnifique. La vue imprenable. Le dîner délicieux. Le personnel attentif et bienveillant.

Cons:

C’est un lieu historique qui n’est pas comme neuf.

Het uitzicht is prachtig. Het is eten is lekker.

Cons:

Geen wifi of bereik op de kamer. De douche was lauw. In de avond heerste er veel stress in het restaurant, omdat er niet genoeg tafels voor de gasten waren. Er is ons twee avonden op rij verzocht om buiten te eten waar het 10graden was. We voelden ons hier niet zo welkom.

Das Hotel ist eine umfangreich restaurierte historische Festungsanlage. Sie liegt erhaben über dem kleinen Mirleft und hat einen entsprechend sensationellen Ausblick. Wertschätzend und immer freundlich war der gesamte Service inklusive der Küche. Besonders aber möchten wir die lustigen und charmanten Herren Lahcan und Brahim würdigen , die mit ihrer herzlichen, Leichtigkeit unseren Aufenthalt gekrönt haben.

Very disappointed due to no water supply.
Pros:

Breakfast was very basic,,coffee and pancakes were good as was the fresh orange juice,,however, I would have expected a fresh omettete for the extra price we payed.

It was a very nice place from the point of view of going back in time,the surrounding gardens were beautiful and our accommodation was good with plenty of space,,the swimming pool was lovely,the staff very friendly,,,but,but,,the water supply gave up on the morning of us leaving! We had our breakfast, went back to our accommodation to have shower etc.,, no water, ,,taps ,shower, toilet had no water to flush,,waited for an hour still no water,,,,no explanation from staff,,would not recommend,,never came across lack of water before in Morocco,,even in the most basic accommodation
