It was clean and what I expected.
Stairs and hand rails. Stairs because of my own limitations. Hand rails because a couple felt insecure.

The location, above the restaurant Tritón and next to Paty’s (awesome happy hour there, and both restaurants have really good food), is awesome.
The toilet needed to be fiddled a couple of times to make it flush, the A/C didn’t work the first couple of days, the wifi was iffy
Pie de playa, buscaba arena y mar y fue preciso lo que me dieron,, salía de la habitación en shorts directo al mar..esa foto es real allí en esa cerradura disfrute atardeceres.
No tiene regadera para quitarte la arena al salir de la plata, y en el baño me hubiese gustado una cortina en la ducha. Nada grave pues es amplio el baño, solo es mi opinión y gusto

Las instalaciones pésimas, no tiene personal, no tiene recepción, todo muy sucio. De plano cancelé mi reservación, perdí el costo de una noche y me cambié de hotel

Location couldn’t be better. Steps away from the beach and close to several restaurants. Taxi stand was less than a minute walk if you wanted to head to downtown or elsewhere.
This hotel is a 30 second walk from Playa la Ropa, a beautiful beach. The shower was great, the bed was comfortable. It had a fridge. A cleaning lady came every morning and would thoroughly clean the room if that's what you wanted.
The room itself is a bit basic. There's no common area - there's no place to sit outside and just hang out. There's no way to make coffee in the room, although you can get coffee at Villa Mexicana right on the beach about a minute's walk away. By Mexican standards it was expensive for what you get, but by Zihuatenejo standards it's good value.
This location is unmatched for the price point, step outside your room and your on a beautiful balcony, take 8 steps down and your on a road, take 20 more steps and you're on the sand. Couldn't of wished for more.

Location
No hot water in the bathroom sink and the faucet was defective (leaked). Too may winding stairs to reach the room. No communication from the host. (I texted him several times with no response.) I tried to cancel the reservation after the first night, but never heard from the landlord. I agreed to pay for the night we did stay in the unit, but the landlord refused that compromise. DON"T STAY HERE!
Clean and simple. Very close to beach. Fridge and air conditioner.
Very spartan. What would significantly improve the accommodation is a kitchenette (cutlery, crockery, electric kettle eg) and some shelves or drawers for clothes etc
The location was great, right at the beach. Our room had a wonderful view from the balcony. There were chairs and umbrellas to take to the beach. The house cleaner was amazing and super friendly. The room was clean. Fernando helped with carrying our luggage up to the room.
The room was very basic, I would even say too basic. The fridge was very small, there was one chair but no table and there wasn't a coffee maker or kettle. We had to ask for more hangers, and worth mentioning, there isn't a safe in the room. The water pressure at the bathroom sink was a mere trickle.There was supposed to be a bottle of water in the room as per the description on Booking.com; however, there wasn't any and none offered even after we told Fernando this. Believe me, when you're hot, tired and finished climbing the stairs, even a small bottle of water upon check-in would have gone a long way!
