A truly unforgettable castle escape
Staying at Galicia Nueva felt like stepping into another era — in the best possible way. The restored Renaissance-Baroque castle is genuinely breathtaking, perched above the village with sweeping views over the surrounding countryside. From the moment we drove up the hill and through the gates, we knew this stay would be something special.

Cons:

Our room (castle apartment) was spacious, elegantly furnished, and full of character — the kind of place where you actually want to spend time, not just sleep. Every detail was thought through, from the bathrobes and slippers to the quality of the linens. It felt luxurious without ever feeling stiff or impersonal.
The wellness area was a real highlight. After a long day of exploring, sinking into the pool and the sauna with that quiet castle atmosphere around you is something you don’t easily forget. The staff were warm, attentive, and clearly proud of the place they work in — nothing was ever too much trouble.
Dinner in the restaurant deserves its own paragraph. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented, and the wine list more than did the region justice. Breakfast the next morning was equally lovely — fresh, varied, and unhurried.
What I appreciated most, though, was the calm. No crowds, no noise, just history, nature, and genuine Slovak hospitality

- izba DeLuxe bola super, priestanná a veľmi príjemná
- výborné wellness otvorené až do 22.00
- pekné priestory
- jedlo bolo OK, ale nič extra

Určite odporúčam bookovať DeLuxe izbu.

Cons:

- zarezervovali sme si izbu Standard a dostali sme jednu z tých malých
- tlak v sprche bol extrémne malý, bol problém sa osprchovať
- pri rezervácii bolo uvedené, že v izbe je klimatizácia, avšak na noc bola vypnutá a v izbe bolo 26 stupňov a nešlo to nijako vyvetrať, keďže v izbe bolo iba miniokno, avšak po prvej noci nám izbu vymenili za DeLuxe, ktorá bola už super
- vírivka by mohla byť väčšina, je tak max. pre 2 ľudí
- obliečky na periny by som si pri tejto sume za noc predstavovala príjemnejšie
