Pros:

Ich habe vorher viele schlechte Bewertungen über das Hotel gelesen. Uns hat es aber sehr gut gefallen und wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Das Hotel ist seit einiger Zeit in neuen Händen und wird nach und nach renoviert. Das Personal war extrem nett und das Zimmer völlig in Ordnung. Es war sehr heiß, aber wir haben schnell eine gut funktionierende Klimaanlage bekommen. Es gibt kein Frühstück mehr, aber eine Kaffeemaschine, die man kostenlos benutzen kann. Auf dem Platz vor dem Hotel gibt es tolle Frühstückscafés, in denen man wunderbar sitzen kann. Leiden ist eine sehr hübsche Stadt und wird zu Recht als Klein-Amsterdam bezeichnet. Man kann hier gut ein paar Tage verbringen und hat eine super Anbindung nach Amsterdam-Zentral - mehrmals in der Stunde und auch spätabends.

Cons:

Die Treppen ins obere Stockwerk sind etwas anstrengend mit Koffern. Kriegt man aber auch hin. Vielleicht nicht das richtige für jemand, der nicht gut zu Fuß ist. Dann eher die unteren Zimmer buchen. Rund um das Hotel ist es am Wochenende nachts sehr laut. Dank Klimaanlage konnten wir aber das Fenster schließen und sehr gut schlafen.

The location is excellent; the only issue was the lack of air conditioning in the room, which could be difficult in hot weather. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's a place worth considering for a stay in Leiden.

Pros:

Dieses gut gelegene Hotel war für drei Tage unser Stützpunkt in Leiden: toller Name, sehr netter Empfang.
Dieses Haus wurde vor Kurzem von neuen Eigentümern übernommen. Diese haben versucht, dieses schon ältere Hotel etwas aufzumöbeln, viel wäre noch zu tun und man sieht auch, dass weiterrenoviert wird. Für unseren Kurzaufenthalt war dieses preiswerte Haus aber ok.

Pros:

3泊食事付きで488ユーロだったのに、食事無しで495ユーロ請求された。オーナーが変わったとかで、前の料金と変わったらしいが、こちらには何の連絡も無し。チェックイン時、エレベーターもなく狭くて急な階段を年よりの私達二人であげるのはとても大変だった。大抵はフロントの誰かが手伝ってくれるが、ここはヘルプ！といってもヘラヘラ笑うだけで無視。次の日、食事無しが分かり、新オーナーを呼び出して聞いたら、前システムの予約と変わっていて申し訳ないから、三日間近くで食事してくれと近くのホテルで朝食。食後宿で食事代を払うというのでフロントに行くと、新料金は食事無しで495だから食事代は払わないといい出したから、変更するならちゃんと連絡しろ！私達は、予約時の食事込み488ユーロで予約してる！というとしぶしぶ食事代を返金。しかし、さっきのホテルの食事代は１７ユーロ。このホテルは、１3ユーロで、また私達が損。帰る日は、7時半に、荷物を3階の部屋から、下に降ろすのを助けると言ったが、もちろんこないから、必死に降ろした。あちこち汚いし壊れてるし、このホテルは絶対に泊まったらダメ。
