Staff and ambience
Absolutely nothing. Please avoid this hotel!
In my 40+ years of travelling I have never had to write a review as bad as this one. Due to space limitations, I am keeping this brief.
After 2 days stay, as I was checking out, the receptionist (MahmitaG) engaged me in lots of conversation and asked me if I could write a review and award 10/10 for this hotel. At the same time she took my credit card and charged me for the room. She never presented me with an itemised bill for 2 nights stay plus food. She kept looking at me as she was typing in the amount. But I didn't suspect anything.
Then just before I was leaving, I luckily saw my bank account and realised that she had charged me more than double. I was excessively overcharged!
When I questioned her, her face immediately turned red, and without any pause or hesitation, she replied that she was sorry and refunded some money. This was less than half. But I could see that she already was prepared for me to question her.
As I was late for the airport I had to leave. Later on I realised this was not a mistake, but a deliberate attempt to cheat me.
I have written to the hotel on 3 occasions and have itemised all my costs over 2 days and asked them for an explanation, as I didn't want to accuse them of wrongdoing without giving them a chance to explain, how this might have happened. However, after 2 weeks of waiting they refuse to reply to my polite emails. They owe me money as I've forwarded all itemised costs to them. But I'm not bothered about the money anymore.
There's unfortunately only one conclusion, and that is this hotel lacks any moral or ethical character. They are totally unprofessional and in other areas of life, they could well be facing prosecution. I will never ever go near this hotel again and I advise anyone reading this review to avoid this cheap and cheating little hotel and find elsewhere to stay. I am so tired that I have to write this and this hotel has now stained my memory of Nepal. It's disgraceful.

Our stay at Amarawati Boutique Hotel was wonderful. The hospitality and staff was very helpful, and the food quality was impressive. Everything was taken care and make our experience truly comfortable. Highly recommended for visitors anyone visiting this area.

Room was very good ,hot and cold water available 24hrs in bathroom,location is nearby airport,they have pick up and drop services,staffs were also very good and polite,rooms were very good neat clean and comfortable,there’s buffet breakfast fast with varieties and it was really good,there’s WIFI,lift,parking lot available in this hotel.
Amarawati Boutique Hotel is one of the best places to stay near Tribhuvan International Airport and Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu. The hotel offers clean, comfortable, and well-furnished rooms with all modern facilities. The environment is peaceful, and the staff are friendly, polite, and always ready to help with a smile.
The highlight of my stay was the excellent management and hospitality of Mr. Sudarshan, the hotel manager. He is extremely professional, kind, and attentive to every guest’s needs. His friendly nature and quick response to any request make every guest feel truly welcome and at home.
The hotel also provides great airport pick-up and drop services, as well as help with local travel arrangements. The restaurant serves delicious food, and the staff ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience.
