while the staff were friendly. I rate 1-2 stars out of 5. I won't be staying her again.
Pros:

the staff were friendly.
the motel provided breakfast and dinner if needed.
had a pool

Cons:

the unit we stayed in, major renovations of neighbouring units were taking place.

in my unit, paint marks visible everywhere on bathroom. on the walls you could see brush marks of paint.
very poor quality of renovation work carried out on our unit. Overall it gave the motel a poor look.
inside the shower pan were slippery
the light for the bathroom was found in the lounge.
many of the exisitng light switches no longer work so you had to try them all to find the right switch.
the carpet looks worn.
facilities in the unit is out-dated.

The water in shower was hot and good water pressure

Cons:

We have stayed at many places around NZ for the same nightly rate so though we were nor expecting 5 star accommodation but this was less then 2 star .... tye air conditioning unit had no filters etc .. the heater left in room had three wheels, bedroom furniture water damaged, room had not been vacuumed between clients .. sink damaged .. cobwebs throughout the unit 😪😪
We were glad we were only there one night.

Staff were brilliant, unfortunately the units did not keep up to the same standard.
Pros:

On arrival the staff were friendly and very helpful. It's a pity that the rest of our stay didn't live up to the same standard.

Cons:

Toilet was leaking all night and constantly refilling.
The heater above the door didn't work as it's not connected to anything. Found other heater in the closet the next morning.
Sky TV system held on/dangling from cable ties. No battery in the actual tv remote, so you have to turn off tv at the wall, otherwise you have the tv screen lite up all night.
No blankets in the closet for those cold nights.

Worth the money, staff super friendly!
Pros:

Clean tidy, staff at reception always super friendly as always which makes a massive difference

Cons:

Rooms are dated but to be fair really clean and it shows the staff care by that.

Bit dated with the interior rooms, no fan in the shower so build ups with moisture.
