The Equipment like a toaster etc was not in the Unit. Not all go to the Restaurant.

Loved the fact that it was central and easy to find.
Pros:

I liked the room. Bed was comfortable. Loved the sensor light in the toilet.

Cons:

The bin wasn't emptied the next day. Also, had to use the same bin (which was in the main room) for the toilet and bathroom. Never got to use the pool.

Overpriced and sketchy
Pros:

The staff was nice

Cons:

The staff was nice, but the units were awful. Smelled bad and not clean. There is no restaurant or was not when we were staying at the height of the season. We booked last minute so it was really our only option, but we left as soon as we could.

Would only return for the restaurant, the accommodation was terrible
Pros:

Food was great both Dinner and Breakfast, so were the staff that served us throughout the trip

Cons:

Rooms were dirty, outdoor areas were shocking particularly the pool area.

Alt, dette var en veldig uhyggelig opplevelse og alt annet rundt var fullbooket så vi fikk ikke flyttet. Måtte bo der i åtte dager. Rengjøringspersonellet er ikke til og stole på, det er møkkete, mugg på badet, ene barnet mitt hadde hatt ett uhell i senga og leverte laken og dyne til personell og ble skjelt ut og måtte betale 50 dollar i bot. Alt ble tatt opp og de hadde fått mange klager på rengjøringspersonellet før uten at de gjør noe med det. Det ble også stjålet kontanter fra sekken min. De ville ikke refundere noen ting!

Bathtub stained, bathroom floor dirty, curtains very dirty...the room was dusty, smelled mouldy
Fan didn't work, made a creaky sound. Not good value ....not up to good standards

Worst accomodation on Northland. Extremely disappointing for $288 per night. Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere. We

Lack of general maintenance results in it being impossible to clean the room to a reasonable standard.
Black mould on the curtain, smelly old carpet in a dingy room charged out at $288 per night.
It took over 20 minutes to get some service in order to check in.
The whole experience was so bad my family would stay in the room as “this place sux”.
We ended up packing up and finding accommodation outside of Kaitaia, where everyone was happy and saved our holiday.
Charging $288 per night for a room of this standard is dishonest, deceitful as best.
Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere. We won’t be back.
