Great place to visit
Pros:

Made our own breakfast which we enjoyed on the sunny balcony overlooking the harbour. Great location.

Cons:

Could have had time to stay longer.

It was very rundown. We should’ve stayed two nights but only stayed one as it was late when we arrived. Otherwise, we look on elsewhere.

Pros:

LGreat location with a wonderful view. Comfy bed (a bit soft) and lovely bed linen, clean and tidy.

Cons:

No tea/coffee making facilities.
One power point for the tv - others not obvious or hidden behind the bed. So couldn't charge phone whilst tv on.

Good location and parking

Cons:

Room was tired and in need of refurbishment. Bed not comfortable, rubbish bin never emptied. Timer on washbasin tap was a pain! There was a double bed and single/ king single so for 3 people but no space for hanging clothes or drawers for storage. Window dirty with cobwebs.
Kitchenette along hallway for making hot drinks but mugs were stained. Sign asking people to clean up when finished but first day there was no cloth, scourer to do so.

Pros:

Der Balkon mit Blick aufs Wasser war wirklich toll. So konnte man gemütlich frühstücken.

Cons:

Es gab keine richtige Küche nur Mikrowelle und Toster,der Kühlschrank hat leider auch nicht korrekt geschlossen,sodass er manchmal offen stand.

Very poor customer service. I went to the reception and was met by I presume the bar manager, I said hello and that I had a room booked.
No greeting back or hello, just a stone faced reply
NAME,
told her my name,
No you haven’t got a booking!
so I showed her my email confirmation.
No your name isn’t in the book!
We’ll have you another room?
Yes but not at that price!
Ok I’ll pay extra I said.
Got a room, but the hotel is tired and needs a revamp.

Honestly it sucked
Pros:

Great view of Mangonui harbour

Cons:

We were not given enough toilet paper. The hand basin was falling off the wall. The shower was grotty and the bed was too spongey. Lots of noise and nonsense in the immediate area too.

I'd gladly stay there again, the area is absolutely beautiful. Food was top shelf, staff were great

Great location, staff were great, food was even better. Value for money if you just need a bed.

Cons:

Happy that the single room was only small, but it probably needs the curtains to be cleaned as they literally rest on your head when you sleep. There weren't any drawers, which isn't a problem, however, a couple of hooks on the door or walls to hang a jacket or two would be nice. Overall, it was really good.
